Job Description: PHP Developer (Laravel/Symfony)

Location: Bengaluru – Kalyani Neptune, Bannerghatta Road

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with hands-on expertise in Laravel or Symfony (preferably Symfony), who can contribute to full-cycle project development. You will be responsible for building robust backend solutions and integrating with multiple services while following best practices of object-oriented design and RESTful architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP frameworks (Laravel/Symfony)
• Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to understand requirements
• Create scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using MVC architecture
• Implement and maintain microservice-based architecture
• Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and services
• Work with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL using ORM tools such as Doctrine or Eloquent
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and overall software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide long-term solutions

Required Skills:

• Strong programming knowledge in PHP with at least 2 years of experience
• Hands-on experience in Symfony or Laravel (Symfony preferred)
• Solid understanding of OOP and MVC design pattern
• Strong experience in creating and consuming REST APIs
• Experience working in service-based architectures or microservices
• Familiarity with Doctrine or Eloquent ORM
• Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL

Good to Have:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure

Responsibilities:

• Implement solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, Power Apps, and Dynamics 365
• Primary responsibilities will be designing, prototyping, and supporting of testing, development and refactoring end-to-end applications on ever-changing modern technology platforms in public/hybrid cloud environments.
• Use multiple OOTB Connectors with PowerApps and Flow, and preferably create custom connectors for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow.
• Re-write and re-engineer custom legacy applications to PowerApps solutions.
• Adept at leveraging new approaches to solutions for system design and functionality.
• Interpret and design database models (MYSQL, SQL Server, etc. ).
• Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
• Create documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations as well as documentation of the environment and deployment for our support and future implementations teams.
• Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
• Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in PowerApps
• Bachelors or masters in computer science or any related field
• Microsoft Certification in PowerApps will be an added advantage

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant will oversee the complete accounting cycle including financial reporting, statutory compliance, vendor and customer accounts, taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations, attention to detail, and experience in project-based accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle GST filings, TDS returns, and ensure timely statutory compliance.
• Monitor receivables and payables, coordinate with the sales and procurement teams for accurate billing and vendor settlements.
• Track project-wise revenue and cost, and support with work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities for audits, loans, and compliance matters.
• Assist management with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
• Support payroll processing, PF/ESI filings, and other HR-related statutory compliance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Finance (M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a contracting or project-based industry.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Experience in handling project accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in HVAC, MEP, construction, or turnkey project companies.
• Familiarity with ZOHO Books or other ERP/accounting software.

• Collaborate with Dev, QA and Data Science teams on environment maintenance, monitoring (ELK, Prometheus or equivalent), deployments and diagnostics
• Administer a hybrid datacenter, including AWS and EC2 cloud assets
• Administer, automate and troubleshoot container based solutions deployed on AWS ECS
• Be able to troubleshoot problems and provide feedback to engineering on issues
• Automate deployment (Ansible, Python), build (Git, Maven. Make, or equivalent) and integration (Jenkins, Nexus) processes

Need to have

• Engineering degree in Computer science or ECE or MCA is a must
