As an L1/L2 Data Scientist, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and data scientists to solve real-world problems using machine learning (ML) and generative AI (GenAI). Beyond classical data science tasks, you’ll contribute to building and fine-tuning large language model (LLM)– based applications, such as chatbots, copilots, and automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate problem statements into data science tasks.
• Perform data collection, cleaning, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Build and evaluate ML models using Python and libraries such as scikit-learn and XGBoost.
• Support the development of LLM-powered workflows like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning for use cases including summarization, Q&A, and task automation.
• Contribute to GenAI application development using frameworks like LangChain, OpenAI APIs, or similar ecosystems.
• Work with engineers to integrate models into applications, build/test APIs, and monitor performance post-deployment.
• Maintain reproducible notebooks, pipelines, and documentation for ML and LLM experiments.
• Stay updated on advancements in ML, NLP, and GenAI, and share insights with the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2.5–5 years of experience in data science, ML, or AI (projects and internships included).
• Proficiency in Python with experience in libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and matplotlib.
• Basic exposure to LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Mistral, Hugging Face) or strong interest with the ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with SQL and structured data handling.
• Understanding of NLP fundamentals and vector-based retrieval techniques (a plus).
• Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

• Experience with GenAI prototyping using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and model integration into backend systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker, or Git.

Description

• Develop & support Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions that add value to DHL Express Functions.
• Manage the day-to-day activities pertaining to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes and solutions.
• Required preparation, update and regular review all relevant RPA documentation for the service line and the supporting/enabling functions
• Support the team in cultivating culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Manage team administrative requirements for the team
• Designing practical and effective solutions to address improvement opportunities – both cost and performance.
• Successfully implement RPA initiatives with DHL Express Business Partners
• Ability to relate to cross-cultural processes and country sensitivities
• Responsible for process documentations (i.e. process maps)

• Qualified University Degree holder specializing in IT field (Software Development)
• At least 4+ years working experience in the Software Development Environment is preferred
• IT knowledge in software development process is a must

Role And Responsibilities

• Validate vendor invoices and processing vendor payments on time with all required approvals.
• Handle Day to day accounting activities.

• Apply knowledge of Taxation, TDS deductions and quarterly e-TDS filing, GST returns filing, PF, PT and Advance tax computation
• Support Financial & Tax Audits
• Prepare month close reports
• Responsibilities include month end closing activities General accounting and ensure proper monthly/quarterly/annually reconciliations.
• Hand on experience in Intercompany Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Fixed Assets.
• This position will support the Management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, procedures, and the policies.
• Audit support internal and external audits.
• Adhere to company accounting policies, US GAAP, and other external requirements.
• Periodical MIS preparation and circulation to team
• Keeping books of account upto date and maintaining invoices and other company documents in an organized manner.
• Maintain fixed asset schedule, bank reconciliations, investment schedule, closing inventory etc.

Required Education and Skills

• B. Com / M. Com with CA or CPA preferred
• Min 1 to 3 years of experience
• Prior experience in General accounting
• Knowledge of financial controls and procedures, GAAP, NetSuite
• Experience working in Finance & Accounts with any ERP environment, typically obtained in 2-3 years
• High integrity, open, communicative & team player
• Strong time management, commitment, and organizational skills
• Previous experience working hands-on in the areas of Taxation, TDS deductions and quarterly e-TDS filing, GST returns filing, PF, PT and Advance tax computation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Powerpoint)
