Roles and Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers to generate new sales opportunities.
• Initiate contact with prospective clients through calls, emails, and social media to establish connections and schedule meetings.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and provide customized solutions that align with their purchasing goals.
• Create and present engaging presentations and proposals to potential customers.
• Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve or surpass sales targets, focusing on stock placement subscriptions.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and potential growth areas in B2C sales.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify new opportunities for expanding the business.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure business development efforts align with overall company strategy.
• Gather feedback and insights from customers to help refine product offerings and marketing strategies.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and sales activities.
• Prepare regular reports for management to review progress and outcomes.

• The PPC / Paid Search Analyst is responsible for administering and managing Pay per Click media strategies for clients. She/he should be able to quickly understand and support initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of client campaigns.
• Perform daily account management on Google AdWords, Facebook, Bing and other search platforms.
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, Account daily and monthly budget caps, impression shares, quality score and other important account metrics.
• Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates.
• Assist in the management of Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms.
• Can devise strategies to increase ROI – Is good at increasing CTR and reducing the cost per clicks
• Support the generation of new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives.
• Able to understand the business website thoroughly so as to implement a strategic plan for Google AdWords
• Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
• Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
• Communication with team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
• Work closely with the other team members to meet goals.
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics.

In collaboration with Microsoft Research, we are developing a data-driven lending platform catered towards the needs of “emerging markets” users. The complete platform has various components, all working in tandem to provide a “comfortable” loan journey for our borrowers by working on increasing their ability to earn more as well as improving their willingness to repay. As someone joining the technology team, you’ll have the chance to experience and lead efforts into scaling the existing systems to thousands of users across India and outside. You’ll also get a chance to learn the various nuances of working in the domain of finance and sustainable technology development.

We are looking for outstanding engineers to assist building up the core components as well as designing new components. Knowledge of existing technologies is preferred, but ultimately, we are looking for individuals with a growth mindset, willing to learn and contribute to their growth and the growth of their peers.

Our lending model has been identified as one of the most innovative in global south by the Climate Finance Lab and we have raised seed funds from global Angel investors to scale our operations. We work closely with Microsoft Research India and Mahindra Electric as our technology partners. • Develop, modify, and maintain code base of various applications.
• Coordinating with a remote team and applying appropriate branching, labelling using GIT.
• Adding features to the existing web dashboard for monitoring and supporting field operations.
• Implementing application testability and diagnostics and fixing bug with REDUX architecture.

• 2+ years’ experience with development of Restful APIs.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture.
• Strong Knowledge of Database management and OOP.
• Any prior experience of using CD/CI pipelines and experience with azure web services.

• Contributions to Opensource projects.
• Contributions to developer community through Stack Overflow, TopCoder, CodeChef, Google Developer Groups etc.
• Relevant personal or public technical blogs

• Collaborate with a team of engineers and managers to create applications used by our Investors, Channel Partners and Operations Team
• Write clean, self-documenting code that follows best practices and design patterns

• Be a self-starter that can, at times, take initiative and execute on projects with little direction

Minimum qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience
• Expert in Python with knowledge on at least one industry standard framework like Django, Flask, etc.
• Solid knowledge of developing backend applications
• Have a strong demonstrated ability to ship high-quality products
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and diligent work ethic
• Experience using Docker and cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Database design skills

• A Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in software product development.
