Job Overview:

The BMS Project Manager is responsible for the management of Building Management System projects from design to completion. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning and handing over of BMS solutions, ensuring all technical, quality, and safety standards are met. The Project Manager will collaborate with Consultants, PMC, clients, engineers, Internal team and Sub-contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of BMS systems that meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the BMS projects, including scope definition, project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all project deliverables are met.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
• Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, Sub-contractor and other staff involved in the BMS project.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Conduct regular team meetings to track progress and resolve issues.
• Work closely with design engineers to ensure that the BMS design meets client requirements and industry standards.
• Review technical specifications and drawings for the installation of BMS systems.
• Oversee the procurement of BMS equipment and materials, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
• Ensure all required certifications and compliance with regulations for the BMS systems are met.
• Monitor the progress of the project to ensure it is on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure that all work meets quality standards and industry regulations.
• Oversee the commissioning process and troubleshoot issues during system testing.
• Maintain regular communication with clients/Consultants, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.
• Prepare Daily progress reports, including financial summaries, timelines, and project performance.
• Address client concerns and provide solutions to any technical or operational issues.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
• Comply with local and international building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Manage the project closeout process, ensuring all deliverables are completed and handed over to the client.
• Prepare and review final documentation, including system manuals, warranties, and certificates.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
• Minimum 8 years of experience managing BMS or similar building automation projects.
• Proven experience in managing large teams and large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of building systems, HVAC, lighting, energy management, and related technologies.
• Experience with BMS platforms (e.g., Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Siemens, Trane etc).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

·         BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field. 

·         Minimum 3+ years of UI/Frontend development and a strong understanding of building complex layouts using JavaScript, CSS and HTML.

KEY SKILLS

·         Strong computer system analysis and design skills in current methodologies and patterns including vanilla JavaScript, some experience with ReactJS, Redux, React Native, Webpack, and Typescript or similar library/tools.

·         Obsessed with WPO (Web Performance Optimization) and web/mobile performance analysis.

·         Experienced with web standards and protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and socket APIs in general.

·         Familiar with web security, SEO, accessibility and internationalization.

1. Tracking/management of all software assets to include internal license assessments
2. Participate in software vendor contract/license negotiations and the development of software licenses and associated maintenance contracts.
3. Knowledge in SW license procurement & hands on experience in Ariba tool.
4. Prepare and assist in the performance of periodic compliance report
5. Provide support to end users regarding specific vendor product use rights
6. Assist in the establishment of internal and controls related to software asset management, governance and compliance
7. Exposure in Oracle, MS, IBM, Adobe and other enterprise licensing.
8. Handled Cloud – AWS, Amazon, GCP & Billing
9. Participated in license compliance audit.
10. Tracking/management of software license governance and compliance in accordance with enterprise policy, process, procedures and controls by internal staff and external service providers

1. Working Experience in

·        C and/or C++ programming

o   Should have Project working experience in C or C++

o   Should have done feature enhancement and/or Bug fixing using C/C++.

·        System Programming knowledge in

o   Muti-threaded programming, Process contexts/forks/execs and system calls

o   IPCs (like Socket programming, Message Queues, semaphores)

o   Linux Operating system

o   File access calls, like file descriptor handled operations.

·        Enterprise Security domain and SaaS

o   IPSec, SSL VPN tunnelling

Required:

1. A minimum of 1 years of consulting and/or relevant industry experience
2. Understanding of Android Framework and Android app development.
3. Experience in developing android apps using Kotlin and latest frameworks
4. Knowledge and understanding of Design-Patterns and Data Structures.
5. Ability to develop Android applications using latest Frameworks like Retrofit, RxJava
6. Ability to write Unit test cases using the frameworks.
7. Knowledge about how to consume the REST API's
8. Understanding of Git/BitBucket or any version control system
9. Good written and verbal communication skills.
10. B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MSC/MS

Preferred:

1. Understanding and usage of latest android frameworks like JetPack, Android Architectural components
2. Experience in mentoring the new team members and also the junior folks.
3. Exposure to various mobile architectures (ex: MVC, MVP, MVVM, etc..)
4. Experience in handling the Android app deployment process.
5. Experience in working in Agile methodology

• 3+ Years of total experience in JavaScript related technologies including ReactJS, JQuery, front end integration with CSS3 and HTML5 .

• Strong understanding of modern development methodologies and best industry standards
• Experience writing/completing Unit Testing
• Experience working with APIs & RESTful APIs
