IT Sales Executive

Job Summary:

As a Sales Executive at KNS Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

• Research and identify potential clients in the [target market/industry].
• Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.

Sales and Client Management:

• Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions that align with their requirements.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our offerings.
• Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with clients while adhering to company guidelines.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Sales Targets and Reporting:

• Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Keep accurate records of sales activities and maintain detailed reports in the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the sales manager.

Market Insights:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Provide feedback and insights to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall growth strategy.

What you’ll be doing:

You will understand the Business requirement and design, develop and deploy ERP Web Application using ADO.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery. Lead a team of engineers. Motivates team members and assesses performance. Provides help to team and management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.   
• Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems   
• Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget   
• Compliance of process and quality management standards   
• Should have a solid understanding of the SDLC processes (Design, Construction, Testing, Deployment)
• Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.   
• Providing third-level support to business users.

• Supports the team manager and performs management duties when manager is absent or out of office

•  6+ years of experience in .NET Framework like C#.Net/ ASP.Net
• Minimum 4 years of experience on Web Application development ADO.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery
• Been on a Lead role and led a team of 3-5 people for a period of 2 years
• Must have a good exposure on query writing and DB management for writing stored procedures/ user-defined functions
• Should have a very good understanding of the project architecture

Secondary Skills

• Experience in analyzing existing code and debugging.

• Prior experience of working in AJAX, Crystal report, Infragistics grid and control

I was previously Director of Engineering at Crunchbase, led product and engineering at Oncue (venture-funded B2B SaaS) and have built products at multiple bay area startups. I run a product development studio, Version One Labs, that works with startups here in California. The website is a bit out of date but I’m currently working with a few exciting startups to help them with their product dev efforts.

This role is for a different mission though. I am currently in the early stages of building our first internal product and am looking for 2-3 scrappy, driven, and sharp developers who are interested in working on exciting ideas and build products from the ground up.
