React Native Developer Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
• Use additional JavaScript libraries, such as Redux, to make asynchronous API calls and enhance website loading speed.
• Implement pixel-perfect user interfaces that match designs.
• Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
• Participate in sprint retrospectives and daily standups as well as two-week sprints.
• Utilize new, contemporary, smooth animations and transitions to provide a great user experience.
• Plan the data and presentation layers of the application's front end.
• Be a part of a React Native developer community that shares knowledge and assists one another when problems arise.

React Native Developer Requirements

• Bachelor's/Degree Master's in Computer Science/Information Technology plus 3+ years of industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of React tools such as Webpack, Enzyme, React.js, Flux, and Redux.
• Strong command of the JavaScript, TypeScript, or ClojureScript languages and their nuances, including ES6+ syntax.
• REST API knowledge, the document request model, and offline storage.
• Ability to identify with FullStack clients' goals and commit to delivering on the promises you and your team make to them.
• You work well in groups and enjoy working in the office with your coworkers.
• A positive outlook and a go-getter attitude

DevDarshan is a devotional platform launched by IIT graduates to promote the teachings of Indian culture and the Hindu way of life in India around the world. In the 21st century, where everything around is digitized then why not temples. That’s the idea behind DevDarshan.We’ve built a community of devotees from multiple Countries, through our Mobile Application that connects Temples and Devotees, have successfully raised seed investment and also started to generate revenue for the temples and Priests associated with us. Right now we are looking to grow our team and build new exciting features for devotees all around the world.

Requirement:

• Solid understanding and Proven working experience of Flutter, Dart, Flutter UI, and animations.
• Extraordinary sense of architecture, design, and writing clean code using reusable components
• Should have experience working with native technologies like Android, iOS
• Experienced in working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Should have published one or more mobile apps in Google Play or App Store
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Write clear, maintainable, and testable code that you are proud of

The Role

This role is a senior developer role which will naturally progress into a Mobile App Team Lead role.

The ideal candidate will need to have complete ownership over the development aspect of the mobile app.

Responsibilities

1. Design and Build Mobile and Web Apps

2. Support technically for CRMs

3. Working with designers to understand the user's experience with new features

4. Designing and building features for our iOS app

5. Developing unit tests along with features and integration tests into the development process

6. Maintaining current capabilities of our app which include debugging and fixing issues while maintaining code quality

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of proven experience in building Android & iOS applications.

2. Bachelor's degree in computer science

3. Proficient in working with Jira and Confluence is a plus

4. Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing atmosphere and able to prioritize work and communicate challenges

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with technical and non-technical team members with experience working with both local and remote teams

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Java and Swift or SwiftUI experience is preferred

Job Description

• Have five or more years of experience as a mobile software engineer
• Have deep knowledge of iOS development with Objective-C and/or Swift or deep knowledge of Android development with Java/Kotlin
• Deep knowledge of profiling and instrumentation of mobile applications
• Experience launching and maintaining apps in PlayStore and/or AppStore
• Experience building mobile apps in React Native is a big plus, or experience with React.

• Translate product designs and features into high-quality code within project constraints through diligent planning and attention to detail.
• Design and develop efficient reusable components. Follow SDLC best practices by ensuring coding and testing standards.
• Take the lead to maintain and refactor code and remedy performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with different tech teams, product teams, and QA. Exhibit excellent teamwork and help achieve team goals. Keep key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoid surprises.
• Work to architect simple, reliable, and elegant applications. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Identify and communicate improvements to development tools, processes & workflows. Contribute to a collaborative work environment and a culture of ownership.
• Participate in understanding problems for our specific target and finding solutions for them.

• Strong knowledge of Android design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  Good problem-solving skills and verse with OOPs fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, and a solid understanding of Android SDK and other components (MVP/MVVM, Architecture components, Jetpack, Dagger, RxJava, Coroutines, Data binding, Retrofit, etc).
• Knowledge of clean architecture and its implementation.
• Proficient with developing apps optimized for different android versions and devices of varying performance.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Experience with multi-threading, memory management, databases.
• Experience in working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, etc.
• Experience/Knowledge of unit testing and integration testing.
• A knack for profiling, performance tuning, and optimization.
