Summary/Objective:

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at Avalon Solutions, preferably with expertise in the fashion & luxury sector. The ideal candidate will proficiently utilize AI tools for creative designs and have a strong skill set for creating compelling visuals for social media and digital platforms.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.   Design Creation:

• Create innovative, high-end designs for various luxury products, tailored for social media graphics and website elements, good to have experience in jewelry industry.
• Collaborate with marketing and other teams to grasp project requirements and objectives.
• Incorporate cutting-edge design techniques, including AI tools, to produce innovative visuals.

2.   Brand Consistency:

·        Create engaging content for social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.

·        Ensure designs are optimized for different platforms and adhere to brand guidelines.

·        Work closely with the marketing team to contribute to the evolution of the brand identity.

3.   Software Proficiency:

·        Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and experience with AI design tools.

·        Stay updated on industry trends and design tools to enhance creativity and efficiency.

·        Excellent skills in color theory, typography, and layout design.

4.   Feedback Incorporation:

·        Receive and incorporate feedback from stakeholders into design iterations.

·        Present design concepts and ideas to team members for review and approval.

5.   Project Management:

·        Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

·        Collaborate with other designers and cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

·        1 to 2 years of professional graphic design experience.

·        Experience in the e-commerce, jewelry, or luxury industry is ideal.

·        Good to have experience in a marketing or advertising agency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and code quality.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

Contribute to the technical design and architecture of mobile applications, ensuring scalability, modularity, and maintainability.

Evaluate and select appropriate libraries, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process and application performance.

Implement new features and functionality in mobile applications based on project requirements and specifications.

Write clean and efficient code, conduct thorough testing, and ensure proper documentation of the implemented features.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and other technical problems in mobile applications. Conduct debugging, testing, and optimization to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.

Optimize the performance of mobile applications by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, reducing loading times, and improving memory usage.

Conduct profiling and performance testing to enhance the overall user experience.

Write unit tests and conduct thorough testing to ensure the quality, functionality, and compatibility of mobile applications across different devices and platforms.

Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to identify and resolve any defects or issues.

Stay updated with the latest trends, best practices, and advancements in mobile app development, particularly in the React Native ecosystem.

Continuously enhance your skills and knowledge to contribute to the improvement of the team's development processes and standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a minimum of 1+years, specifically in mobile app development using React Native.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native framework.

Familiarity with native mobile development (iOS and Android) and related tools.

Experience with mobile app testing frameworks, such as Jest or Detox.

Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration of mobile apps with backend services.

Knowledge of mobile app performance optimization techniques and tools.

Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

What you need to have:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of at least one back-end languages (preferably Python/Ruby/ Node.js) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)

• 10+ years developing and designing software products, and demonstrated experience with full software development lifecycle, ideally in a regulated industry
• Strong computer science fundamentals in OOAD, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms

Primary Job Function:

• Works in a lead role in one or more aspects of the overall software development process (such as software design, code development) under a disciplined product development process that meets FDA requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Interacts with QA engineers to ensure that software products are robust and of very high quality.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related engineering or scientific field.

Minimum Experience:

• 10 years relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or 5 yrs with MS degree. Will receive additional 2 years experience credit for PhD.
• Good knowledge of software engineering principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential..
• Excellent troubleshooting skills are a must. Strong debugging techniques and experience on using debugger is required and/or use of testing tools to ensure high level of quality of software product.
• Strong working knowledge of the principles of quality software engineering as described by software lifecycle development processes that are consistent with ISO, IEEE, or other FDA recognized standards.
• Experience w/ distributed computing / services (preferably cloud native) software design and development is highly preferable.
