Jira design and configuration:

Design and configure a centralized landing page/dashboard in Jira for request intake.

Create and manage Jira boards with tailored JQL filters.

Manage custom workflows, issue types, fields, and screens to support the request lifecycle.

Automation and request routing:

Develop and implement Jira Automation rules to direct requests based on defined routing criteria (e.g., components, labels).

Establish fallback and alert mechanisms for misrouted or failed automation flows.

Access and permissions:

Define user roles and permission schemes for secure and scoped access across groups.

Set up board-level access controls and validate role-based restrictions.

System administration and governance:

Perform system health checks, troubleshooting, and regular Jira maintenance.

Implement audit logging, change management, and configuration documentation.

Collaboration and Agile delivery:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.

Support sprint planning and delivery with Agile board setup and backlog grooming.

Integrations:

Maintain integration hygiene across Jira, Confluence, and external systems (e.g., CI/CD, monitoring).

Backup, recovery, and configuration export/import in Jira

Knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM) and customer portals

Experience with Confluence, including knowledge base and linked documentation

Hands-on with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo) for DevOps collaboration

Atlassian Certifications (e.g., ACP-100, ACP-600)

Exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) for Jira Cloud migrations or integrations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology Engineering or a related field.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:
