About this Role :

As a UI/UX Designer you will have the opportunity to build & work on complex products/projects across industries and segments. We at Team Pumpkin want you to grow professionally and thus provide you an environment where you take ownership of the project/products you work on.

Responsibilities

• Working on multiple projects, applications and websites
• Working on cross platform designs to provide optimised design for an application/website
• Understanding client requirements to provide designs/flows as per expectations
• Conducting in-depth research on potential competitive landscape to understand industry specific trends/benchmarks
• Developing wireframes to provide/communicate potential screenflows
• Analysing client feedback and incorporating design changes 
• Designing UI elements such as navigation/interaction elements, CTAs, widgets, buttons, search bars etc.
• Assisting the engineering and development team to translate design to code

Requirements:

• Atleast 6-8 years of experience in developing and managing complex design projects
• Have a strong design principles and have a diverse portfolio to showcase
• Proficiency in any of the design suites such as Figma, Indesign, Photoshop , Invision etc. 
• Ability to understand company/brand guidelines and incorporate the same within design
• Extensive experience in collaborating with multiple teams both inter/intra company
• Experience in providing creative insight to improve existing products
• Basic front end knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles and Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to design and implement novel AI solutions

● Research state-of-the-art modelling and training techniques

● Propose, prototype, and validate hypotheses to lead our business and product roadmaps

● Evaluate new technologies and innovate to improve product competitiveness

Must have Skills:

● Deep knowledge and hands-on experience of working with various AI/ML models

● Ability to choose/build optimal DNN architecture and end-to-end model delivery pipeline

● Proven track record of applying ML techniques beyond conventional supervised learning (Eg: active learning, reinforcement learning, and knowledge distillation)

● Working knowledge in the following specialized domains of Robotic Navigation or Large Language modelling is a plus

● LLM - Instruction Tuning - RAG Robot Navigation - 3D modeling - Localization - Path planning

● Good in Data-structures and Algorithms

● Well acquainted with programming using python, torch/tensorflow

● Working knowledge of ML-Ops and tools like mlflow will be a plus

● Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

● Mentoring junior ML engineers Experience Masters and 8+ years of experience or PhD with 3+ years experienc

Role and Responsibilities:

·        Lead the vision of our product and consumer experiences

·        Own the end-to-end design/ UX of YouShd’s applications, design simple and clean visual UI, and create wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect mocks

·        Work with the tech team to get your ideas built

·        Conduct user research, come up with user personas, both informally and in structured studies, and analyze and present findings so we all can understand our users better

·        Set the standard for what great design entails and help your team achieve that standard

·        Build and maintain a design system to achieve consistency across our applications

Skills and Experience:

·        2+ years of experience in product design

·        Work with wireframing tool of choice (Balsamiq, Pencil, Axure, Whimsical, Mockflow, etc.) to create low fidelity and high fidelity wireframes

·        Convert any wireframes into mockups using Figma, Sketch, etc.

·        Find design inspirations related to the idea proposed and do independent research

·        Demonstrated experience of leading complex projects independently under tight timelines

·        Detail orientation, execution excellence and entrepreneurial spirit

·        First-principles led problem-solving attitude

Nice to Haves:

·        Experience with frontend web or mobile development

·        Previous experience working in an Agile environment with scrums and sprints
