Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Work Location: Remote / Home Office (US Shift: 6 PM – 3 AM IST)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in

designing, building, and optimizing data solutions for the US education industry. The

ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, data modeling, ETL

processes, and hands-on experience with business intelligence tools such

as Tableau and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data

integration workflows across multiple systems.

• Work with stakeholders in the US education domain to understand data

requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and

performance-optimized data models.

• Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to build dashboards,

reports, and visualizations in Tableau and Power BI.

• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry regulations

and institutional reporting requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Analytics, IT) to support data

driven decision-making.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data infrastructure and workflows for high

availability and performance.

Required Qualifications

• 12–15 years of professional experience in data engineering, ETL, and database

development.

• Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, optimization, indexing, stored

procedures).

• Proven experience working with data in the US education industry (student

information systems, enrollment data, compliance reporting, accreditation,

etc.).

• Hands-on expertise with Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and

reporting.

• Solid understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and BI

best practices.• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Azure

Synapse, or GCP BigQuery).

• Knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data processing frameworks is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements

into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with IPEDS, state/federal reporting standards, or other US

education regulatory frameworks.

• Exposure to data governance frameworks and master data management.

• Experience in API integrations and handling large-scale structured/unstructured

data.

• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop interiors for hotels, resorts, lounges, restaurants, and luxury villas.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and clients to finalize design concepts.
• Select and source materials, furnishings, lighting, and décor with an emphasis on hospitality functionality and aesthetics.
• Prepare detailed design presentations, 3D visuals, mood boards, and CAD drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors during project execution to maintain quality and design integrity.
• Ensure compliance with hospitality brand standards, fire & safety norms, and sustainability guidelines.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop.
• Excellent understanding of spatial planning, color theory, and lighting in hospitality settings.
• Portfolio of previous hospitality projects is a must.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development.

• Expertise in Angular (version 16+) and NodeJS.

• Proven experience developing and deploying microservices and serverless applications on AWS, particularly using AWS Lambda.

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture patterns and design principles.

• Proficiency with AWS services like API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and IAM.

• Hands-on experience with database technologies, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB or MongoDB).

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and version control tools like Git.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor other team members

As a Inhouse lawyer, you will be legal representative of the company and will be providing legal advice and guidance on all kinds of legal matters

• Preparing legal agreements, contracts and any such legal documents
• Ensuring compliance of laws and regulations across all the operations in the organization
• Legally advise the management on all litigation matters and also will be managing litigation to achieve the best possible outcomes
• Handling and guiding the legal team
• Handling all the activities related to Contract Management which includes advising the management on all existing & New laws
• Providing necessary advice to various business teams regarding legal and safety laws
• Drafting and vetting of the terms and conditions as well as the agreements related to, but not limited to, the company’s website, advertising, promotional activities, technology service etc.
• Searching, tracking and sending notice to brands infringing the company’s trademark (Domestic and Overseas)

Responsibilities:

• Investigate technologies and solutions which help the team achieve deliverables and results.
• Working with business process analysts and technical leads to derive conceptual designs and solutions.
• Assisting project managers with sizing estimates and work-breakdown structures.
• Develop and unit test software within teams of varied sizes and geographical distributions.
• Benchmarking and load testing developed modules and integrated applications.
• Assisting quality assurance team in the conduct of solution testing.
• Documenting software specifications and requirements.
• Working with infrastructure teams to define and establish application environments and implementation of software applications.
• Provide post-implementation support for developed software applications and solutions.

Measures of Success:

• The delivery of software solutions that meets requirements and are within budget and project timeline.
• Achieves good quality development metrics and standards that are aligned with industry best practices.

  Skill Requirements:
• Knowledge of General Open System / Distributed systems platforms
• Knowledge of cloud service like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience in developing and implementing Restful APIs
• Good understanding of Network ports/Transfer protocols.
• Ability to process/analyze large amounts of data and logs.
• UI and Backend Development experience (Full stack).
• 6+ years of experience in software development within Linux environment; with a strong focus on development using JAVA, Javascript, C and BASH shell & Python scripting.
• Experienced in structured and agile development methodologies.
• Experienced in load testing and benchmarking tools such as JMeter, Loadrunner, etc.
• Experienced in Linux-based database technology and versed with stored procedures.
• Experienced in web services developments using XML, SOAP, JSON.
• Knowledge of application security setup using common security standards like SSL, TLS, secured ciphers, etc.
• Experienced with software versioning control using GIT.

Soft Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a desire to design and develop top quality software products.
