Summary

The Video Editor primarily focuses on editing short-form video content such as Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, and TikTok clips. This role supports the senior video team with long-form video editing, ensuring engaging, well-polished videos aligned with content strategies.

Formats: YouTube Videos, Shorts and Reel formats, Social Media content.

Key Responsibilities

• Short-Form Video Editing
• Edit and assemble reels, shorts, and other short video formats tailored for social media platforms.
• Apply subtitles, sound effects, motion graphics, and filters to enhance engagement.
• Support for Long-Form Content
• Assist the senior video editor in cutting, sequencing, and refining long-form videos such as YouTube content.
• Prepare rough cuts and incorporate feedback for final versions.
• Asset Management
• Organize raw footage, sound files, and final exports in an efficient file system.
• Ensure all video files are correctly named, stored, and backed up.
• Collaboration
• Work closely with motion graphic designers to integrate animated elements smoothly into videos.
• Coordinate with content creators and social media teams to align edits with messaging and trends.
• Trend Awareness & Continuous Learning
• Stay updated on video editing software features and social media video trends.
• Explore creative editing techniques and new tools to improve video appeal.
• Quality & Deadline Management
• Deliver high-quality videos within set deadlines, maintaining brand standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during editing.

• Flag any unclear content, controversial ideas, or doubtful information, messages, queries to the Project Head before proceeding.
• When unsure about any matter, seek clarification instead of making assumptions.

• Support the team in the absence of other members and assist with cross-functional tasks when needed.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Team Leader, Project Head, or Management to ensure timely completion and overall project success.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and execute both manual and automated tests for our web platform, ensuring robust quality across browsers, devices, and configurations.
• Own test planning for features, including writing clear test scenarios and sanity cases — even in the absence of complete specs.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Playwright + TypeScript, Momentic) to ensure scalable, reliable test coverage.
• Drive product quality by proactively identifying gaps, edge cases, and risks, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Design.
• Lead or contribute to exploratory testing, regression cycles, and release sign-offs.
• Communicate test results, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with evolving best practices in manual, automation, and product quality strategies.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in software QA (manual + automation) with demonstrated ownership of testing strategies and execution.
• Strong understanding of core QA principles (priority vs. severity, testing types, risk-based testing).
• Hands-on expertise with Playwright + TypeScript or equivalent frameworks for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, BDD/TDD frameworks, and test data management.
• Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
• Clear communication skills — can articulate testing strategies, product risks, and technical decisions effectively.
• Curious, proactive, and comfortable asking the right questions when context is missing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product design, development, and quality enhancement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated expertise in product design and development within the power and magnetics electronic components industry.
• In-depth understanding of electromagnetic materials and their applications is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of electrical circuit theory, electromagnetic principles, and power electronics.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in multiple time zones.
• Ability to understand engineering concepts, research and effectively create white papers, application notes, technical briefs and other product-focused collateral.
• Strong multitasking abilities and proficiency in working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ability using hands to perform component analysis and testing, PCB assemble and soldering.
• Ability to use standard test equipment including oscilloscopes, Impedance Analyzers, LCR equipment, spectrum & network analyzers, DMM’s, frequency counters, programmable power supplies, temperature chambers, HIPOT equipment, etc. is essential
• Working knowledge of networking technology like 802.3 wired Ethernet and 802.11 wireless technology used as the communication backbone in the laboratory.
• Experience with PCB design for production and/or reference designs. PCB design includes capability to design from customer requirements using schematic capture, implementing PCB design rules, performing circuit simulation and creating multi-layered PCB layouts.
• Previous experience using single-board computers (SBC) like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, etc. is preferred.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, like Python is preferred.
