Who are we?

We're Codebuddy. We are a product engineering services company based out of Kolkata, with an office in Pune. We work with clients from different industries on a daily basis, and so far, we have worked with 120+ clients in the span of just 5 years. 

Our team’s average age is 26 years. So, you get an idea of how young and energetic our team is, full of life and enthusiasm.

If you choose to join us, you’d be working in our team of 4 design ninjas. Our designs have helped startups to get acquired, even get through to Y-Combinator. So, you can clearly see the impact that our designs create.

What's the role?

01 You’ll get crude requirements and you translate those documents into understandable user journeys and wireframes, without breaking a sweat.

02 You craft mind-boggling user interfaces that would make even Picasso jealous.

03 You create beautiful lottie animations based on the project's needs.

04 You hand off your designs to the developers perfectly and make sure they don’t hate you.

05 You occasionally conduct user interviews and testing, because we build the products for them.

06 You also work on occasional Social Media Posters, featuring the star of Codebuddy. A few samples for your reference:

Requirements

Personality:

01:- Strong communication skills, because we appreciate a good joke, but we also need you to explain why you chose Comic Sans.

02:- We would like you to be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. We expect you to be Atma-nirbhar.

03:- We expect you to have the ability to charm the client, make the logo bigger, and even make the design a rainbow upon request.

04:- A can-do attitude, with attention to detail and a sense of humor. We like our candidates to be funny and sharp!

Technical:

01:- We know that you are going to apply anyway. But, we prefer 2+ years of UI/UX design experience.

02:- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, and Adobe CC Suite. Also, if you don’t use autolayout, this is where you close this tab.

03:- A portfolio that makes us say, "So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow!"

04:- Experience with micro-interactions (preferably Lottie) would be just perfect 🤌🏼

Duties:

• Embedded Software Development in C

•Design and development of software based on Autosar architecture

• Integration & verification of the developed SW components

•Debugging and error analysis

•Create design documents

•Participate in Design & Code reviews

Qualifications:

•University degree in electrical/electronics engineering, computer science or similar

•Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development

• Solid C programming skills

• Ideally with Autosar experience

•Knowledge on Functional Safety (ISO 26262)

• Familiar with Vector tools like DaVinci Configurator, Geny, CANoe, etc..

•Knowledge of scripting tools like Python, CAPL, etc.

Required Skills

• Candidate should have worked in Photoshop/illustrator, Adobe XD, and Figma.
• Knowledge of Wireframing & Prototyping, Graphic Designing, and Video Editing will be an add-on.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the whole end-to-end design process.
• Should have a thorough knowledge of UI/UX and Graphics design.
• Maintain design standards of Web and Mobile layouts.
• To work on Photoshop, Figma, ADOBE XD, and all trending tools of designing.
• Responsible for logo design, wireframing, Digital Marketing, and Sales Graphics designing, Web & Mobile Apps de,sign and other Company designing tasks.
• Team coordination to lift the team, train the team to get the best design practices, and bring innovation and creativity.
• Study the latest design trends, upgrade one,self and incorporate the same in the designs.
• Gather the client requirements and work on the expected client output in collaboration with managers and developers.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal team members to get the best design output.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and ima as per the requirements.
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Study clients’ choices, provide accurate vers,ions and meet the deadlines with the best designs.

We are a fast-growing, venture-funded SaaS Company in the Customer Experience/CRM space based in US. We are seeking an experienced, customer-facing technical solutioning professional in a consulting role, who can work as a trusted advisor for our customers in pre-sales and post-sales implementation situations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day technical and sales engineering support to sales team during presales situations

• Deliver technical presentations, product demos for prospective customers

• Implement and deliver custom demos when necessary for specific prospective customers

• Capture customer-specific requirements for customizations and 3rd party software (API) integrations required to deliver full solution into a documented Statement of Work (SoW) based on a standard template, to assist sales team to close deals

• Ensure implementation and customer success post-sales by doing an effective knowledge transfer of customer-specific requirements in the SoW to the implementation team

Required Experience:

5+ years minimum Software and/or SaaS industry experience working preferably in customer facing roles (pre-sales engineering or post-sales implementation or solution consulting)

Required Skills:

• Excellent English-communication and writing skills

• Comfortable in creating customer-facing technical presentations in Powerpoint, SoW documents in Word, and working with simple ROI-type Excel spreadsheets

• Good presentation skills - presenting PPT, demos, discussing SOW with customers over Zoom calls

• Experience in solution architecture - understanding customer use-cases, and advising customers on how we can adapt our product platform with customizations to deliver a solution meeting their needs

• Some hands-on programming experience - comfortable in writing simple custom scripts and HTML/XML/JSON that may be required to customize demos

Work Environment:

• Remote, India-based Consulting role but requires flexible work hours to cover customer activity in US timezones

• Primary tools: Mac or Windows PC, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Slack (for

collaboration), Zoom (for meetings), Smartphone (for iOS or Android mobile app demos)

• Adequate training will be provided on how to demo/use our products, setup demo environments, customization options, sample customization scripts/tools, sales presentations, SoW templates and other technical pre-sales tools
