Business Development Associate

Position: Full Stack Developer

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 5 to 9 yrs.

Notice Period: within 15 to 30 days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain robust, performant, user-facing web applications in Python/Django/React.
• Ability to work in fast paced, high pressure, agile environment, and willingness to learn any new technologies and apply them at work in order to stay ahead of the curve.
• Maintain a high level of quality for delivering software.
• Participate in sprint planning and task breakdown and estimation.
• Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders on requirements definition and feature design & development.
• Develop and enforce data engineering, security, data quality standards through automation.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Similar discipline.
• 3+ years of working experience building web applications using Python, Django, or some equivalent MVC framework.
• Working experience deploying and supporting software solutions in a production environment.
• Knowledgeable on best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Experience scaling web applications as well as working with ReactJS.
• Expertise in building and managing large volume data processing (both streaming and batch) platform and performance optimization is a plus.
• Strong team focus with outstanding organizational and interpersonal, management, communication, and presentation skills.

Technology Areas of Expertise

• 3+ yrs of experience in React.js with Redux or angular
• 3+ yrs of experience in Python, Django
• Good Knowledge or experience in Cloud/AWS
• Experience in PostgreSQL ,

• Utilize telephone solicitation, electronic and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools in order to reach and exceed the budgeted sponsorship target for each exhibition/event.
• Research and develop a list of potential sponsors for each exhibition/event.
• Research and develop a list of potential exhibitors when required.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential sponsorship clients.
• Keep precise records of conversations with all clients, sponsors and exhibitors.
• Update the company database as required.
• Invoice sponsors and exhibitors once agreements have been reached.
• Assist in preparing promotional material to advertise sales opportunities.
• Delegate administrative functions to assistants when possible.
• Experience in International voice process in sales will be an added advantage.

• Good experience with Objective-C/Swift and iOS SDK.
• Good working knowledge in Cocoa Touch.
• Experience with memory management and caching mechanisms specific to mobile devices.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics and Core Text.
• Experience in Payment gateway integration in mobile apps is a big plus.
• A portfolio of iPhone apps in the app store is a plus.

Requirement:-
1. Strong PHP Core programming expertise
2. MySQL DB Model Design and Programming expertise
3. Strong skills in either Joomla or WordPress - at least one is needed.
4. Working know how of HTML 5/ CSS 3
5. Knowledge of SVN or any other version control tools
6. Must have solid REST/API implementation and integration concepts.

Preferred addons :-
1. Good to have Frontend Skills in - Javascript/JQuery/Bootstrap/Angular
2. Experience in common third-party social APIs (google, Facebook, eBay etc)
3. Experience with Payment Gateway integration with APIs like (paypal, payza, authorise.net, Firstdata, Ipayout, Stripe etc)
4. Any experience in Ionic / PhoneGap is a plus

Benefits

Must Haves

• You’ve been building web applications professionally for 5+ years
• You’re proficient in NodeJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• You possess strong OOP and design pattern knowledge
• Familiar with modern engineering practices: Code Reviews, Continuous Deployment, Automated Testing, etc
• You write understandable, testable code with an eye towards maintainability and experienced with TDD (Test Driven Development)
• You’ve the ability to build RESTful APIs
• Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support team, and fellow engineers is not a problem for you
• Well versed with the fundamentals of computer science and distributed systems

Nice-to-haves

• FrontEnd experience; have built applications in either: React, Vue, Angular, or Svelte
• Startup experience, preferably a tech startup
• Open Source contributor
• You have experience with other programming languages -- e.g. Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, C, etc.
• Passionate about/experienced with open source and developer tools
• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
