At, we build Enterprise-Scale AI/ML-powered products for Manufacturing, Sustainability and Supply Chain. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help us deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implement integrations that meet customer needs. By joining our team, you will take part in various projects, involves working with clients to successfully implement and integrate a  products, software, or systems into their existing infrastructure or  cloud. 

What You'll Do

•      Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze customer needs, ensuring that DevOps strategies align with business objectives.

•      Deploy and manage various development, testing, and automation tools, alongside robust IT infrastructure to support our software lifecycle.

•      Configure and maintain the necessary tools and infrastructure to support continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and other DevOps processes.

•      Establish and document processes for development, testing, release, updates, and support to streamline DevOps operations.

•      Manage the deployment of software updates and bug fixes, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless integration.

•      Develop and implement tools aimed at minimizing errors and enhancing the overall customer experience.

•      Promote and develop automated solutions wherever possible to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

•      Evaluate, select, and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools that best fit the project requirements and organizational goals.

•      Drive ongoing enhancements by building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless integration, development, and deployment cycles.

•      Integrate requested features and services as per customer requirements to enhance product functionality.

•      Conduct thorough root cause analyses for production issues, implementing effective solutions to prevent recurrence.

•      Investigate and resolve technical problems promptly to maintain system stability and performance.

•      Offer expert technical support, including GitOps for automated Kubernetes deployments, Jenkins pipeline automation, VPS setup, and more, ensuring smooth and reliable operations.

Requirements & Skills

•      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MCA or equivalent practical experience

•      4 to 6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer 

•      Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including services like EC2, S3, RDS and Kubernetes Service (EKS).

•      Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.

•      Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipeline, or similar

•      Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

•      Skilled in using IaC tools like Terraform,  AWS CloudFormation, or similar.

•      Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.

•      Expertise in using Git and managing repositories on platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

•      Ability to build and maintain automated scripts and tools to enhance DevOps processes.

•      Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure system reliability and performance.

•      Experience with GitOps practices for managing Kubernetes deployments using Flux2 or similar.

•      Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Yaml, Bash, or PowerShell.

•      Strong analytical skills to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

•      Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Design, deploy, and manage IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components on Microsoft Azure.
• Implement and maintain virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines (VMs), and other cloud resources.
• Automate and optimize provisioning of Azure resources using Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
• Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC):
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate resource provisioning.
• Write reusable and maintainable Terraform modules to manage Azure infrastructure.
• Use Terraform for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for infrastructure management.
• Cloud Security and Governance:
• Implement best practices for cloud security in Azure, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and network security.
• Ensure that infrastructure adheres to company policies and industry standards for compliance.
• Automation and Scripting:
• Automate routine tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Write and maintain scripts for deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure resources.
• Collaboration and Documentation:
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and training on Azure best practices.
• Document cloud infrastructure, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience with IaaS (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage) and PaaS (App Services, SQL Databases, Azure Functions).
• Expertise in Terraform for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and tools in Azure, including encryption, firewalls, and RBAC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) for automated deployments.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory and role-based access control (RBAC).

As DevOps Engineer, you are responsible to setup and maintain GIT repository, DevOps tools like Jenkins, UCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jfrog Artifactory, Cloud monitoring tools, Cloud security.

• Setup, configure, and maintain GIT repos, Jenkins, UCD, etc. for multi hosting cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain the server infrastructure in AWS. Build highly resilient infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Working on Docker images and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain the automation scripts using Ansible or other available tools.
• Maintain and monitor cloud Kubernetes Clusters and patching when necessary.
• Working on Cloud security tools to keep applications secured.
• Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically infra design, execution, and debugging required to achieve successful implementation of integrated solutions within the portfolio.

Specific responsibilities commensurate with experience and include:

• Ability to react quickly and effectively to identify and resolve issues that heavily impact CI/CD system (immediate mitigation of impact, long-term resolution including strategies for risk mitigation/monitoring/alert for proactive resolution of potential future occurrences)
• Design, develop, unit test, and implement build automation scripts including environment configuration validation processes
• Automate and improve development process by evaluation and introduction of new tools and scripts, and manage their life cycle and validation
• Determine branching strategy and maintain branches for various components, products, and product lines
• Come up with solutions to open-ended problems that focus on workflow improvements for the Software department
• Address issues with well-defined requirements efficiently; come up with short-term and long-term solutions and staged deployment strategies
• Self-driven-- takes action to move tickets from start to completion with minimal oversight

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years (minimum) experience handling Build, Release, and Deployment of software on Windows and/or Linux environments (on-premise)
• Experience with the development and deployment of CM processes and tools
• Build automation for .NET using TeamCity (Jenkins is an asset)
• Scripting languages: Windows batch scripting, Powershell, Ant/NAnt
• Source control systems usage, branching strategies, and workflow (Git preferred, Subversion)
• 6+ years of hands-on programming experience with C# and .NET (both Framework and Core)
• Troubleshooting and debugging-- what information to gather when there are issues with CI/CD system, and how to gather it (i.e., analyzing network communication? Windows crash dumps, java logs, etc.)
• 6+ years (minimum) in web/desktop application software development experience

• Managing configurations for multiple build environments
• OS administration and scripting experience (Windows is a must, Linux desired)
• Experience with test automation tools (NUnit, customer inhouse frameworks) and strategies is an asset
• Creation and maintenance of monitoring and alert systems (Zabbix)
• Familiarity with databases (SQL-based) - create, modify, optimize (via script)
• Data and metrics gathering, aggregation, and reporting
• Experience with work management and documentation tools: JIRA and Confluence

A strong background in Azure OR Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar cloud platform is a must-have, certification is a plus.

Excellent technical skills and knowledge include but not limited to: cloud methodologies like PaaS and SaaS; programming languages such as Python, Java, .Net; orchestration systems such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform; Azure IaaS servers; PowerShell scripting.

Fully aware of the DevOps cycle with hands-on on deployment models to the cloud.

Experience working with Docker and related containerization technologies.

Experience working on orchestration platforms such as AKS, RedHat OpenShift etc.

Extensive knowledge working with logging and monitoring tools such as EFK, visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

Exposure to security alert monitoring tools.

Required Skills and Experience 

• 4+ years of relevant experience with DevOps tools Jenkins, Ansible, Chef etc
• 4+ years of experience in continuous integration/deployment and software tools development experience with Python and shell scripts etc
• Building and running Docker images and deployment on Amazon ECS
• Working with AWS services (EC2, S3, ELB, VPC, RDS, Cloudwatch, ECS, ECR, EKS)
• Knowledge and experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
• Experience with source code and configuration management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Maven
• Ability to work with and support Linux environments (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, CentOS)
• Knowledge and experience in cloud orchestration tools such as AWS Cloudformation/Terraform etc
• Experience with implementing "infrastructure as code", “pipeline as code” and "security as code" to enable continuous integration and delivery
