We are looking for a Lead Data Scientist to lead a technical team and help us gain

useful insight out of raw data.

Lead Data Scientist responsibilities include managing the data science team, planning

projects and building analytics models. You should have a strong problem-solving ability

and a knack for statistical analysis. If you’re also able to align our data products with our

business goals, we’d like to meet you.

Your ultimate goal will be to help improve our products and business decisions by

making the most out of our data.

Responsibilities

● Conceive, plan and prioritize data projects

● Ensure data quality and integrity

● Interpret and analyze data problems

● Build analytic systems and predictive models

● Align data projects with organizational goals

● Lead data mining and collection procedures

● Test performance of data-driven products

● Visualize data and create reports

● Build and manage a team of data scientists and data engineers

Requirements

● Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role

● Solid understanding of machine learning

● Knowledge of data management and visualization techniques

● A knack for statistical analysis and predictive modeling

● Good knowledge of R, Python and MATLAB

● Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases

● Strong organizational and leadership skills

● Excellent communication skills

● A business mindset

● Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or similar field

● Familiar with emerging/cutting edge, open source, data science/machine learning

libraries/big data platforms

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for Application Engineering capability, designing and developing web applications, and managing small teams of App engineers In doing so, you will closely collaborate with program leads and technology architects across global locations.

More specifically, you might:

• Collaborate with business analysts and technical managers to understand functional, and non-functional requirements, and scope.
• Design and develop multi-tier, cloud-native, high-performance, and scalable solutions
• Indulge in applying benchmarking software engineering principles and design patterns to build robust world-class solutions.
• Direct cross-functional agile teams as a leader across the software development lifecycle
• Analyse design alternatives using proofs-of-concept, and engage with architects to choose the best optimal solutions
• Obsess about writing high-quality code and performing reviews of the design and code.
• Interact and collaborate with project/program managers to estimate, plan, and reduce technical concerns at the module or project level.
• Ideate with your peers, support their work, and provide constructive feedback on their solutions.
• Try to get to the heart of the problem by closely liaising with customers and getting to the heart of what's working and what's not.

What do we expect? 

• 8+ years of experience
• A passion to write clean yet simple programs using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• A drive to create basic, uncluttered programs using Java / .Net core / Python with Django or Flask.

• Keen interest in creating web frameworks like Angular / React JS 
• A comprehensive foundation using object-oriented and functional programming languages. 
• Wide-ranging knowledge in web server technologies - Node.js / Nginx
• Exposure to Cloud environments - AWS / Azure / GCP
• Good understanding of working with API design and development

We are looking for Tech Leads working with our Application Engineering team, designing, and developing a variety of applications. More specifically, you will:

• Determine the functional, non-functional requirements and scope working with the business analysts and engineering managers
• Design and develop multi-tier, cloud-native, high performance, and scalable solutions
• Apply software engineering principles, design patterns and best practices to build solutions that are testable, secure, and robust
• Lead cross functional agile teams across the software development lifecycle
• Evaluate design alternatives using proof of concepts and collaborate with architects to choose optimal solutions
• Performing design and code reviews
• Collaborate with project/program managers to estimate, plan, and mitigate technical risks at module/project level
• Mentor and groom developers to deliver high quality solutions

What do we expect? 

• Years of Experience: 5+ years
• Relevant hands-on experience with one of more of the following:
• Programming Languages – Python with Django / Flask / Java / C#.net
• Web server technologies - Node.js / Nginx
• Database technologies - MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Testing frameworks – Junit/ Selenium
• Cloud environments - AWS / Azure / GCP (Good to have)
• Good understanding of API design and development

• 4+ years of experience
• Experience in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance web applications.
• A desire to write clean yet simple programs using Java / .Net core / Python with Django or Flask
• Keen interest in creating web servers using Node.js / Nginx
• A passion to store, organize, and process information by using database technologies - MySQL / Oracle / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
• Experience in creating and designing test cases using Junit/ Selenium
• Exposure to Cloud environments - AWS / Azure / GCP
• Good understanding of working with API design and development
