Job Summary :

We are seeking a Junior ELK Data Engineer with over 3 years of hands-on experience in the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats).

The ideal candidate will help design, develop, and optimize scalable data ingestion, indexing, and visualization solutions, contributing to the development of high-performance observability and analytics platforms for real-time monitoring and analysis.

Mandatory Skills :

Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats), real-time data ingestion, dashboard development, log processing, search optimization, system observability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Logstash, Beats, and Elasticsearch for real-time log ingestion and processing.
• Design and develop Kibana dashboards for effective visualization and alerting across various data sources.
• Optimize indexing strategies for large-scale distributed systems to ensure high search performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enable effective observability and monitoring solutions.
• Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues related to logging and monitoring pipelines.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining ELK stack components in production and development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling distributed systems logs and metrics at scale.
• Familiarity with scripting (Python/Shell) for data manipulation or automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Understanding of containerized environments like Docker/Kubernetes.

• Develop responsive web applications using Angular (latest versions)
• Write clean, scalable, and reusable code using TypeScript
• Work with HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap / Tailwind
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and QA teams
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Debug, test, and maintain applications

This position is for a tester with strong coding skills who likes challenges - someone who is constantly striving for excellence in software test automation.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop automated test cases on a day-to-day basis
• Gather and prioritize user requirements, feed these requirements into overall Automation Framework requirements and test plans
• Train team members on tool use and test automation tools, practices, techniques and best practices
• Communicate cross-functionally throughout the engineering organization
• Continuously monitor and boost test coverage across the product

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or better in CS or related field, with 3+ years experience in software test.
• Exposure to best practices in SQA including code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting and CI processes
• Experience in backend Testing using Java, API-Testing,Rest assured ,and Performance testing using Jmeter
• Excellent communications and technical presentation skills
• Initiative to research and build solutions to tough problems in domains like Flash, OpenGL, WebGL where off-the-shelf automation tools might not be available
• Some experience/comfort with working in a Linux/Unix environment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting skills.

Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current build and test automation tools and processes, such as JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, Mockito, JBehave, Git, etc
• Experience with whitebox testing, code reviews, SDK testing
• Experience with performance testing, stress testing, and advanced aspects of system testing automation.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Ruby or comparable).
