What we are looking for in our Frontend Engineering Manager:

• You'll be responsible for managing frontend projects from conception to completion, ensuring their scalability and impact.
• Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing solutions while ensuring quality and performance are not compromised, providing expertise in front-end technologies, interactions, and optimizations.
• Maintaining close collaboration with key stakeholders, particularly in marketing, you'll facilitate communication essential to project success.
• Technical expertise is essential. Our frontend engineering team is distinguished by its hands-on coding proficiency.
• You'll thrive in our dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating a passion for continuous learning and the ability to mentor others.

What we expect from the candidate:

• 8 (Min) to 10 (Max) years of experience in front-end development, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as NextJS, ReactJS, and TypeScript is preferred.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript,
• Possess a strong grasp of grid systems, responsive web design (RWD), reflow principles, and mobile interactions, with the ability to implement dynamic elements such as GIFs, animations, videos, and parallax effects to enhance landing page experiences.
• Exceptional skills in system design and architecture and cloud hosting solutions, enabling the creation of robust front-end solutions.
• Prior experience in SaaS or product-based companies is highly desirable.
• A Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Rewrite existing APIs in NodeJS. 
• Remodel the APIs into Micro services-based architecture. 
• Implement a caching layer wherever possible. 
• Optimize the API for high performance and scalability. 
• Write unit tests for API Testing.
• Automate the code testing and deployment process.

Skills Required: 

• At least 2 years of experience developing Backends using NodeJS — should be well versed with its asynchronous nature & event loop, and know its quirks and workarounds. 
• Excellent hands-on experience using MySQL or any other SQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of MongoDB or any other NoSQL Database. 
• Good knowledge of Redis, its data types, and their use cases. 
• Experience with graph-based databases like GraphQL and Neo4j. 
• Experience developing and deploying REST APIs. 
• Good knowledge of Unit Testing and available Test Frameworks. 
• Good understanding of advanced JS libraries and frameworks. 
• Experience with Web sockets, Service Workers, and Web Push Notifications. 
• Familiar with NodeJS profiling tools. 
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. 
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining DevOps infrastructure on cloud platforms. 
• Should be a fast learner and a go-getter — without any fear of trying out new things Preferences. 
• Experience building a large scale social or location-based app.

Responsibilities

• Technical knowledge regarding best practices of BI development / integration.
• Candidate must understand business processes, be a detailed-oriented person and quickly grasp new concepts.
• Additionally the candidate will have strong presentation, interpersonal, software development and work management skills.
• Strong Advanced SQL programming skills are required
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with one or more BI Reporting tools as Analyst/Developer.
• Knowledge of data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
• Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner.
• Experience converting reports from one reporting tool to another
