We are seeking a motivated Academic Counselor (Admissions & Career Advisor) to join our dynamic team. This externally-facing job title has been clarified to improve search visibility and avoid any internal coding or abbreviations that could confuse applicants. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for education, and experience in EdTech sales or student counseling. For search purposes, this role may also be referenced as Student Admissions Counselor or Career Advisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized academic and career guidance to prospective students.
- Explain programs, course offerings, curriculum, and fees clearly and effectively.
- Guide students through the admissions process — including applications, interviews, and documentation.
- Conduct presentations, webinars, and online counseling sessions to drive enrollments.
- Follow up with leads and inquiries to maximize student conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and feedback using CRM tools.
- Stay updated with industry trends and provide relevant career advice to students.
- Collaborate with marketing and admissions teams to meet enrollment targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and partners.

Personality:

Technical:
01:- We know that you are going to apply anyway. But, we prefer 2+ years of UI/UX design experience.

based on business need and architectural improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Application Software developers and Engineers.
• Handle server-side code for a production platform and contribute to new features
To be the right fit, you'll need:
• More than 4+ years of experience as a software developer in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django, Flask, etc.
• Good understanding of common design patterns and architecture principles to design reliable and Scalable applications
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of databases line NoSQL or MongoDB
• Good to have AWS and Docker or Web services
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team
- Experience in building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as Nest.js & Express.js using an API-first paradigm
- Intimate knowledge of crafting highly performant database queries
- Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.
- A mindset towards building systems for the cloud and DevOps fundamentals
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure services is good to have. If not then willingness to learn should be there.
- Focus towards building security, performance, and scalability into services from the beginning
- Experience with debugging code and troubleshooting technical issues in order to craft appropriate solutions
