SAP APO – PPDS Consultant

We are looking for a skilled SAP APO – PPDS Consultant with at least 6 years of strong experience in Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) using SAP APO.

• Configure and implement PPDS solutions to meet business requirements
• Work with CIF for master data and transactional data integration
• Develop planning strategies using heuristics and optimization techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. SCM, production, IT)
• Analyze and resolve issues in planning and scheduling processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals

Responsibilities

• Ability to translate Wireframes and PSD Designs into functional web apps using HTML5, AngularJS, React , Node.js, and Mongo

• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models

• Creating RESTful services with Node.js

• Architect scalable web architectures

• Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience

• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code

• Be responsive to change requests and feature requests

• Write code that is cross-platform and cross-device compatible

• Ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly

• Work with the client and internal web development team to design new products or enhancements.
• Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing in an agile product development team.
• To develop business requirements into cost-effective and elegant technical solutions.
• Perform peer design and code reviews with other software engineers.
• Help to evaluate requirements and solutions from a technical perspective and implement custom built solutions. 
• Perform estimates of user stories that are to be implemented to help with product engineering planning.
• Work with backend development members to co-create APIs for frontend consumption
• Mentor less experienced team members on proper standards/techniques to improve their development practices and efficiency.
• Write scripts to perform unit testing, functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing support.
• Optimize UI for efficiency and maintainability
• Perform non-production and production deployment processes as scheduled.
• Provide on-going support to the application.

• Hands-on experience with various Microsoft technologies like .Net, ASP.Net, WCF, Web API, MVC SharePoint and/or Azure.
• Effective project and work-stream management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology and processes.
• Managing, mentoring and developing individuals into strong leads.
• Managing project effectively by defining milestones and schedules.
• Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources and reconciling conflicts.

Desired Profile:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience of shipping high quality software.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience of people management with proven track record of building and growing strong teams.
• Strong technical skills with computer science background or equivalent experience.
• Quick learner, ability to multi-task and work under pressure, and work with geographically distributed teams.
• Ability to influence management through presentations, written and verbal communication.
• Great leadership skills to work effectively with.
• Preferred candidates with valid US B1 visa and available to travel onsite at a very short notice.
