
We are seeking a skilled Adobe Commerce Engineer with extensive knowledge of the Adobe Commerce infrastructure (formerly Magento Commerce). This role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining our eCommerce platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across various digital experiences. While Adobe Commerce is the primary focus, expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar platforms is highly desirable, as this role will involve supporting and maintaining multiple Adobe solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Adobe Commerce Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Commerce (Magento) solutions, including custom modules and themes.
- Optimize performance for Adobe Commerce and ensure its scalability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues in the Adobe Commerce infrastructure, ensuring a stable and efficient eCommerce environment.
Integration and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other engineering teams, marketing, and business stakeholders to implement and integrate solutions with Adobe Commerce.
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.
- Work closely with DevOps to deploy and manage the Adobe Commerce infrastructure in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM):
- Support and contribute to projects involving AEM to deliver personalised content experiences.
- Assist with building and managing content workflows in AEM, ensuring consistency across eCommerce and content platforms.
- Leverage AEM’s capabilities to enhance user experiences and support content-driven commerce initiatives.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices in Adobe Commerce and ensure PCI-DSS compliance.
- Stay updated with the latest Adobe Commerce security patches and updates.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Explore and implement new features, tools, and techniques that enhance the performance and capabilities of the Adobe Commerce platform.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Adobe Commerce Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento 2), including development, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Adobe Commerce’s infrastructure, APIs, and extensions.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud or Adobe Managed Services is a plus.
Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Familiarity:
- Basic to intermediate understanding of AEM, with experience in working with content management and delivery.
- Ability to integrate AEM with Adobe Commerce for personalized, content-driven commerce solutions is a plus.
Full Stack Development Skills:
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant eCommerce frameworks.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
DevOps & Cloud:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and product management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud and other Adobe digital marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and headless commerce solutions.
- Experience in implementing SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility standards within Adobe Commerce.
