Job Summary:

Vijay Sales is looking for an experienced and motivated MERN Lead Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development of web applications using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. As a MERN Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient web solutions that enhance user experience and business functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Development Efforts: Oversee the development and deployment of web applications using the MERN stack. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers. Provide technical leadership and build a high-performing development team. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
• Architecture Design: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define system architecture and technology stack. Make decisions on technology and architecture to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Project Management: Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Ensure timely delivery of projects and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including DevOps, QA, and design teams, to align on requirements, best practices, and project goals.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement and enforce coding standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve application performance, security, and reliability.
• Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Advocate for and implement new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior developer role.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and micro-services architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS) and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in version control tools like Git.
• Strong understanding of database design and management.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other JavaScript frameworks/libraries including end to end testing including Automation and Manual testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile app development, specifically using React Native, and will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience across our mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mobile applications using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces that are both visually appealing and functional.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services to enable app functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure the performance and stability of the applications.
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in mobile app development using React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ features.
• Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party APIs.
• Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of the mobile app deployment process for both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with native mobile development (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS).
• More than 3 years experience with React native with Expo and Non-Expo projects
• Familiarity with mobile app performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks for React Native.
• Knowledge of cloud services and mobile backend integration (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
