Job Title: Media Relations & Communication Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking to hire a Media Relations & Communication Executive who will be
responsible for building and maintaining a relation with media houses for the brand. The
Media Relations & Communication Executive will be responsible for promoting and
protecting the brand’s reputation by developing and executing media relations
strategies and plans for brand building/innovation, media promotions, news
communications, and public affairs initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Responds to requests for information from the media.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with construction industry
bloggers, publishers, news portals, and media houses.
• Writes press releases and prepares information for the media to promote viAct.
• Plans or directs the development of media programs to maintain favourable public
and stakeholder views of the organization’s agenda and accomplishments.
• Ensure press releases for new product launch.
• Analyses the organization’s objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build
media relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products,
ideas, and services.
• Maintains the organization’s image and identity.
• Draft’s speeches and schedules interviews.
• Prepares and edits organizational materials, newsletters and other publications for
external audiences.
• Collaborates with managers to identify trends and evaluate advertising to determine
whether it is in sync with the organization’s media relation efforts.
Public Relations Qualifications / Skills:
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of writing media publishable drafts
• Ability to make media pitches
