With the launch of Assentcode’s School ERP platform, we are empowering educational institutions with intelligent, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions that streamline academic, administrative, and financial operations. We are looking for a high-performance Business Development Manager to accelerate adoption of across schools, junior colleges, and educational institutions.
Role Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for end-to-end sales of the School ERP platform, including lead generation, product demonstrations, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and deal closure. This is a field-intensive, revenue-focused role requiring strong consultative selling skills, relationship-building capability, and understanding of the education ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Revenue & Sales Growth
• Drive new business acquisition for School ERP.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with predictable forecasting.
• Identify and convert high-potential schools, institutions, and education groups.
Lead Generation & Market Development
• Identify decision-makers (Chairman, Correspondent, Principal, Admin Head, IT Head).
• Conduct cold calling, field visits, networking, and referrals.
• Develop strategic partnerships with education consultants and associations.
• Participate in education expos, conferences, and industry events.
Consultative Selling
• Conduct detailed product demonstrations tailored to school needs.
• Understand institutional challenges in admissions, academics, finance, and communication.
• Position as a value-driven digital transformation solution.
• Prepare customized proposals and ROI presentations.
Required Skills & Qualifications Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• MBA preferred. Experience
• 3–8 years of B2B sales experience.
• Minimum 2+ years in EdTech / School ERP / SaaS sales preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets. Core Competencies

• Ability to build CXO-level relationships.
• Strong negotiation and closing ability.
• CRM and pipeline management proficiency
• Willingness to travel extensively.
