Role Summary

The Production Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing plans and schedules to produce complex aerospace components. This role ensures efficient material flow, maximizes resource utilization, and guarantees all production activities meet rigorous safety and quality standards (AS9100).

Key Responsibilities

 Production Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed production schedules and work orders that balance customer demand, material availability, and facility capacity across various manufacturing cells (e.g., CNC machining, assembly and Fabrication).

 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., Kaizen events, value stream mapping) to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.

 Work Instruction Development: Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to develop clear, detailed work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and build plans that comply with engineering specifications and quality requirements.

 ERP/MRP Management: Utilize the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, IFS) to manage production data, track inventory, update BOMs (Bill of Materials), and monitor work-in-progress (WIP).

 Capacity & Resource Planning: Conduct capacity analyses for labor and machinery, forecasting future needs and coordinating with management to ensure adequate resources are available for upcoming projects.

 Problem Solving & Coordination: Act as the technical liaison between the production floor, quality assurance, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve immediate production issues (material shortages, design queries, quality holds) and prevent delays.

 Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all planning and production activities adhere strictly to aerospace quality management systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001). Maintain accurate production records and performance metrics (KPIs).

Required Qualifications and Skills

 Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience:  Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, or process planning within an aerospace or high-compliance, regulated manufacturing environment.

 Hands-on experience with typical aerospace manufacturing processes (e.g., precision machining, sheet metal fabrication, complex assembly).

Technical Skills:

 ERP/MRP Proficiency: Strong proficiency in using major ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory control.

 Methodologies: Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.

 Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Minitab).

 Technical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 standards.

Soft Skills:

Preferred Qualifications

 Certifications such as APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt.

 Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software. 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CMM Operator to oversee and optimize inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in CMM operating. The CMM operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our inspection process from manufacturing to finished products.

Job Role and Responsibilities: -

i. CMM operating.

ii. CMM programming.

iii. Final inspection of Jigs machined and sheet metal parts.

iv. Coordinate with Machine shop regarding manufacturing status.

v. Coordinate with production and assembly for parts/Jig readiness for inspection.

vi. QA documentation as per AS9100 D requirements.

vii. FAI as per AS9102C.

viii. Verify the supplier test reports/CoC etc.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering and 3 to 5 year experience. 2. Experience should be in Hexagon CMM operating and Programming only.

3. Candidate should have good knowledge of drawings, reading, GD&T concept.

Required Skill:

 Experience with CMM operating and programming (Hexagon make)  Candidate must be familiar with PC-DMIS 2015.1 CAD++ software.

 Use in-depth familiarity of GD&T to interpret blueprints at all assembly levels.

 Solid understanding of geometric relationships

 Provide analysis of collected data and evaluate it to provide direction for remaining operations.

 Integrate process monitoring with the fabrication process to locate both welding and machining details.

 Understand and apply the fabrication process and environmental effects on large structures.

 Effectively communicate to fabricators, machinists, assemblers, engineers, and other parties as required.

 Experience with model-based metrology.

 Experience using inspection equipment, such as, micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, CMM, Hardness Tester

 Understanding of the manufacturing process of small, medium & large structures from concept to completion.

Ensure repair and maintenance activities of the facilities

Cross verifying the EB, DG, Water and HVAC bills

Prepare Work requisition, Purchase indent and PO

Coordinating for the AMC and servicing by external agencies

Incident report preparation

Planning for site Annual shutdown for maintenance activities

Preparation of daily, weekly & monthly reports

Preparation of Daily snag lists

Monthly Utility Tracker updating

Responsible for smooth operations of all Mechanical, Electrical plumbing installation

Maintaining Legal & statutory compliance documents

Oversee Housekeeping & Security

§ Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD designs of components and systems using tools such as SolidWorks- preferred or NX CAD, AutoCAD, or CATIA.

§ Ensure designs meet technical specifications, functional requirements, and industry standards.

b)   Prototyping and Testing

§ Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and test prototypes.

§ Perform feasibility studies and stress analyses using simulation tools or manual methods.

§ Identify and address design issues during testing and validation phases.

c)   Process Optimization

§ Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production

§ Implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles in projects.

§ Continuously improve existing designs to enhance performance and cost efficiency.

d)   Collaboration and Documentation

§ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

The Senior Engineer – Windows Administration will be responsible for L2-level troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of Windows Server and Client OS environments. The role spans operating system administration, backup and patch management, antivirus, monitoring, and Office 365 administration. The engineer will ensure compliance, security, and high availability of IT services while also supporting end-user environments.

Key Responsibilities:

OS Administration

• Perform OS-level troubleshooting for both Windows Server and Windows Client environments.
• Configure and manage network and security configurations across servers and client endpoints.
• Maintain documentation for OS configurations and updates.

Backup Management

• Fine-tune backup strategies for servers and critical client systems.
• Conduct regular backup and restore testing to validate data integrity and recovery capability.
• Respond effectively to incidents, including recovery from data loss.

Patch Management

• Troubleshoot failed patch deployments for servers and client endpoints.
• Ensure timely patch compliance with organizational security policies.

Antivirus Management

• Fine-tune antivirus policies for both server and endpoint environments.
• Resolve complex antivirus-related incidents and escalations.

Monitoring & Alerts

• Address and resolve advanced monitoring alerts across servers and client devices.
• Ensure proactive detection, reporting, and remediation of issues.

Office 365 Administration

• Manage Office 365 licenses and subscription allocations.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 6 –8 years of experience in Windows Administration, with L2/L3 troubleshooting exposure.

Strong expertise in:

• Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Windows Client OS (Windows 10/11)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Backup solutions and recovery processes, including periodic testing
• Patch and antivirus management across server and endpoint environments
• Office 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune preferred)
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001 preferred).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
