
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CMM Operator to oversee and optimize inspection processes. The ideal candidate will have a background in CMM operating. The CMM operator will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and reliability of our inspection process from manufacturing to finished products.
Job Role and Responsibilities: -
i. CMM operating.
ii. CMM programming.
iii. Final inspection of Jigs machined and sheet metal parts.
iv. Coordinate with Machine shop regarding manufacturing status.
v. Coordinate with production and assembly for parts/Jig readiness for inspection.
vi. QA documentation as per AS9100 D requirements.
vii. FAI as per AS9102C.
viii. Verify the supplier test reports/CoC etc.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering and 3 to 5 year experience. 2. Experience should be in Hexagon CMM operating and Programming only.
3. Candidate should have good knowledge of drawings, reading, GD&T concept.
Required Skill:
Experience with CMM operating and programming (Hexagon make) Candidate must be familiar with PC-DMIS 2015.1 CAD++ software.
Use in-depth familiarity of GD&T to interpret blueprints at all assembly levels.
Solid understanding of geometric relationships
Provide analysis of collected data and evaluate it to provide direction for remaining operations.
Integrate process monitoring with the fabrication process to locate both welding and machining details.
Understand and apply the fabrication process and environmental effects on large structures.
Effectively communicate to fabricators, machinists, assemblers, engineers, and other parties as required.
Experience with model-based metrology.
Experience using inspection equipment, such as, micrometers, gauge blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, optical comparators, profilometers, CMM, Hardness Tester
Understanding of the manufacturing process of small, medium & large structures from concept to completion.
Strong mechanical aptitude
