Role and Responsibilities - You will be responsible for the overall success of our products. You will work closely with the VP of Products, the CEO to develop a vision, strategy, and road map for the product. - You will work with the tech leadership across products, data science, and engineering to identify productization opportunities. - Detail out market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by inputs from customer success and sales teams and on-going discussions with customers. - Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan; work with multiple functions to execute it. - Work closely with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver products that our customers love. - Manage the entire product life cycle from planning to execution: prioritization, release cycles, quality and timeliness of delivery, customer engagement, and feedback. - Clearly identify the value proposition of the product and all its features to help our sales and CSM teams. - Take ownership of product messaging. Collaborate with marketing on product and customer marketing, mapping competitor landscape, help in developing product related content, create collaterals. - Help in sales enablement. Be part of sales calls. Work with customer success team post sales to engage with our customers. - Work with our customers to understand their pain points, be their champion internally, prioritize requirements that create impact. - Manage expectations across teams. Ensure our work is always aligned with our product strategy even as we build stuff at a rapid pace. - Balance new feature building with stabilizing our existing products and giving the best product support. Identify automation opportunities aggressively. Define processes for product support. - Engage with tech teams. Bring in/evolve best practices. Align the team towards common objectives. - Collaborate with the data science team to: productize proven capabilities, and identify new product opportunities. Skills and Requirements - More than 5 years of product management experience including experience building and shipping data products. Experience with product marketing is a desirable. - This is a technical product management role. Therefore, a solid engineering background with hands on experience in software design and development is highly desirable. - Experience working with large scale data/analytics systems is a bonus. Awareness of developments in the field of AI and ML is a bonus. - Ability to think from first principles; ability to think at the right level of abstraction; strong problem solving skills (both technical and non-technical). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to tell a compelling product story and rally the team around you to realize it. - Excellent teamwork skills, ability to engage, motivate, and drive cross-functional teams - Naturally curious, passionate. Have a strong business/customer focus. Can make strategies to win. - Experience working with and leading tech teams. Experience building and scaling product teams.
