SAP ABAP Lead 

Experience 

● 10+ years of total IT experience 

● Minimum 8+ years in SAP ABAP development 

● Hands-on experience in S/4HANA projects 

Location & Work Type

Key Responsibilities 

● Lead and manage ABAP development activities across projects 

● Design and develop complex ABAP programs and enhancements 

● Handle S/4HANA upgrade and migration activities (SPAU/SPDD, code remediation)

● Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP best practices 

● Work closely with functional teams and client stakeholders 

● Manage transport requests and system landscape (Dev, QA, Prod)

● Support production issues and provide technical solutions 

● Mentor junior developers and guide the team

Required Technical Skills 

● Strong expertise in SAP ABAP (RICEFW objects) 

● Hands-on experience in OOABAP (Classes, Interfaces) ● Experience in S/4HANA, HANA, and code remediation 

● Good understanding of SPAU/SPDD during upgrades

● Knowledge of Transport Management System (TMS) 

● Experience with CDS Views, OData (preferred) 

● Familiarity with Code Inspector / ATC / SAP best practices 

Additional Skills 

● Strong understanding of SAP system landscape 

● Good knowledge of development lifecycle and testing processes ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

Certifications (Good to Have) 

● SAP ABAP / S/4HANA certifications 

● openSAP certifications

Role: SAP Basis Administrator

Location: Any USI (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkatta, Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram)

Budget: 25 LPA

Exp: 10+ yrs

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Technical Skills:

·      SAP System Expertise:

·      Installation, Configuration, and Upgrades: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and upgrading SAP systems and components (e.g., ECC, HANA, BOBJ). 

·      Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues within the SAP environment. 

·      Performance Tuning: Knowledge of techniques to optimize SAP system performance, ensuring efficient operation. 

·      SAP Security: Expertise in managing SAP security, including user administration, role management, and authorization management. 

·      Transport Management: Understanding and proficiency in using the SAP Transport Management System (TMS) to manage software changes across the SAP landscape. 

·      Operating Systems and Database Administration:

·      Proficiency in Operating Systems: Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and Unix, which are commonly used in SAP environments. 

·      Database Administration: Knowledge of database technologies used with SAP, such as SAP HANA or other relational databases. 

·      Monitoring Tools:

·      SAP Solution Manager: Mastery of SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools to proactively detect potential issues. 

·      Scripting and Automation: Ability to use scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks and improve efficiency. 

·      Other Technical Skills:

·      Data Migration: Understanding data migration processes and tools to ensure data integrity during upgrades or system refreshes. 

·      Java: Knowledge of Java for managing Java-based SAP applications and components. 

·      ABAP: Basic understanding of ABAP programming language for interacting with SAP systems. 

·      SQL: Knowledge of SQL for database queries and administration.
