Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate and streamline deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement and monitor system performance, ensuring high availability and uptime of services.
• Collaborate with software developers to ensure code is efficiently deployed and integrated into production systems.
• Automate routine tasks and processes to increase productivity and reduce errors.
• Build and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure proactive issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain system configurations, security settings, and deployment scripts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with application performance, infrastructure, and deployments.
• Ensure that systems are compliant with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps tools, trends, and technologies to continually improve operations.

Requirements

Core skills:

● Strong background in Linux / Unix Administration and

troubleshooting

● Experience with AWS (ideally including some of the following:

VPC, Lambda, EC2, Elastic Cache, Route53, SNS, Cloudwatch,

Cloudfront, Redshift, Open search, ELK etc.)

● Experience with Infra Automation and Orchestration tools

including Terraform, Packer, Helm, Ansible.

● Hands on Experience on container technologies like Docker,

Kubernetes/EKS, Gitlab and Jenkins as Pipeline.

● Experience in one or more of Groovy, Perl, Python, Go or

scripting experience in Shell.

● Good understanding of with Continuous Integration(CI) and

Continuous Deployment(CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins,

FlexCD, ArgoCD, Spinnaker etc

● Working knowledge of key value stores, database technologies

(SQL and NoSQL), Mongo, mySQL

● Experience with application monitoring tools like Prometheus,

Grafana, APM tools like NewRelic, Datadog, Pinpoint

● Good exposure on middleware components like ELK, Redis, Kafka

and IOT based systems including Redis, NewRelic, Akamai,

Apache / Nginx, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus etc

Good to have:

● Prior experience in Logistics, Payment and IOT based applications

● Experience in unmanaged mongoDB cluster, automations &

operations, analytics

● Write procedures for backup and disaster recovery

Core Experience

● 3-5 years of hands-on DevOps experience

● 2+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience

● 3+ years of Cloud Platform experience with special focus on

Lambda, R53, SNS, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, Elastic Beanstalk,

RDS, Open Search, EC2, Security tools

● 2+ years of scripting experience in Python/Go, shell

● 2+ years of familiarity with CI/CD, Git, IaC, Monitoring, and

Logging tools

You'll need:

• BS/MS degree in CS-or- a related field with 5+ years of engineering management experience leading productive, high-functioning teams
• Strong fundamentals in distributed systems design and development
• Ability to hire while ensuring a high hiring bar, keep engineers motivated, coach/mentor, and handle performance management
• Experience running production services in Public Clouds such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Experience with running large stateful data systems in the Cloud
• Prior knowledge of Cloud architecture and implementation features (multi-tenancy, containerization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
• A great track record of shipping features and hitting deadlines consistently; should be able to move fast, build in increments and iterate; have a sense of urgency, aggressive mindset towards achieving results and excellent prioritization skills; able to anticipate future technical needs for the product and craft plans to realize them
• Ability to influence the team, peers, and upper management using effective communication and collaborative techniques; focused on building and maintaining a culture of collaboration within the team

• Own the end-to-end infrastructure of Sibros Cloud
• Define and introduce security best practices, identify gaps in infrastructure and come up with solutions
• Design and implement tools and software to manage Sibros’ infrastructure
• Stay hands-on, write and review code and documentation, debug and root cause issues in production environment

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage multi-cloud environments using cloud agnostic tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Passionate about security and have good understanding of industry best practices
• Experience in programming languages like Python, Golang, and enjoying automating everything using code
• Good skills and intuition on root cause issues in production environment

• Experience in database and network management
• Experience in defining security policies and best practices
• Experience in managing a large scale multi cloud environment
• Knowledge of SOC, GDPR or ISO 27001 security compliance standards is a plus

• Designing solutions using one or more AWS features, tools, and technologies such as EC2, EBS, Glacier, S3, ELB, CloudFormation, Lambada, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS, Direct Connect, AWS CLI, REST API
• Design and implement system architecture with AWS cloud - Develop automation scripts, ARM templates, Ansible, Chef, Python, Powershell Knowledge of AWS services and cloud design patterns- Knowledge on Cloud fundamentals like autoscaling, serverless
• Have experience with DevOps and Infrastructure as Code: AWS environment and application automation utilizing CloudFormation and third-party tools. CI/CD pipeline setup utilizing
• CI experience with the following is a must: Jenkins, Bitbucket/GIT, Nexus or Artifactory, SonarQube, WireMock or other mocking solution 
• Expert knowledge on Windows/Linux OS/Mac with at least 5-6 years of system administration experience
• Should have strong skills in using JIRA build tool
• Should have knowledge in managing the CI/CD pipeline on public cloud deployments using AWS
• Should have strong skills in using tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS, Azure AKS), and Cloudformation.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Pingdom, Nagios, etc.
• Experience in reverse proxy services like Nginx and Apache
• Desirable experience in Bitbucket with version control tools like GIT/SVN
• Experience of manual/automated testing desired application deployments
• Experience in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL
• Knowledge of helm and terraform
