Exciting Opportunity: Linux Engineer (L3)

Are you a seasoned Linux Engineer with over 10 years of experience in an enterprise technical support environment? Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Linux systems
• Perform incident, escalation, and change management independently
• Conduct proactive problem management and root cause analysis
• Apply security patches, monitor environments for compliance, and handle disaster recovery planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues
• Lead and manage projects related to Knowledge Transfer (KT), Transition, and SOP creation
• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain high service levels

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering all Linux flavors
• Experience with Linux vulnerability assessment and mitigation
• Knowledge of Redhat Satellite, Oracle Linux Ksplice, Cluster Services, and Oracle RAC clusters
• Familiarity with SAN technologies, HP Blade Servers, Rackmount Servers, and Virtual Connect OS
• Disaster recovery planning and DR testing experience
• Experience in routine performance analysis, capacity planning, and security audits
• Proficiency with HPE Service Guard cluster on RHEL

Non-Technical Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work independently and lead technical teams in resolving complex issues
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence customers and internal stakeholders
• Experience in delivering training and mentoring team members

Eligibility & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise technical support
• Certifications like RHCE, Oracle Enterprise Linux, ITIL are a plus
