Marketing Specialist (Demand Generation + SDR)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly driven Marketing Specialist who will operate at the intersection of demand generation and outbound sales development. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role designed for someone who is comfortable owning both marketing and SDR responsibilities.

You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support pipeline generation efforts, execute campaigns, and directly contribute to top-of-funnel growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, outreach, experimentation, and direct impact on revenue, and is looking to grow into a full-stack B2B marketer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outbound & SDR Execution

• Execute outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and cold calling
• Build and manage target account lists and prospecting workflows
• Book qualified meetings for the sales team
• Continuously optimize messaging, sequences, and targeting
• Track and improve response rates, meeting conversions, and pipeline contribution

2. Campaign Execution (Demand Generation)

• Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across outbound, inbound, and lifecycle channels
• Assist in running 1:1 and 1:few campaigns for target segments
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager on campaign planning and execution

3. Content & Copywriting

• Write cold emails, LinkedIn messages, and outreach sequences
• Develop campaign messaging and value propositions
• Support content creation for landing pages, ads, and marketing assets
• Continuously test and improve copy based on performance

4. Webinar & Podcast Execution

• Assist in planning and executing webinars and podcast initiatives
• Coordinate with internal teams and external speakers
• Drive pre-event outreach and post-event follow-ups
• Repurpose content into campaigns and outbound messaging

5. Lead Management & Lifecycle Support

• Support lead nurturing and follow-up workflows
• Ensure timely engagement with inbound and outbound leads
• Maintain hygiene of CRM and outreach tools

6. Channel & Audience Research

• Identify potential prospects using LinkedIn, communities, and databases
• Build and segment lists based on ICP criteria
• Explore new channels and opportunities for pipeline generation

7. Reporting & Optimization

• Track key metrics such as emails sent, responses, meetings booked, and conversions
• Share regular updates on campaign performance and learnings
• Continuously improve based on data and feedback

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS / AdTech / MarTech / Inside Sales / SDR roles
• Hands-on experience with cold email, LinkedIn outreach, and/or calling
• Strong copywriting and communication skills
• Ability to execute campaigns independently with minimal supervision
• High ownership and willingness to experiment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AdTech / publisher ecosystem
• Exposure to webinars, podcasts, or event marketing
• Familiarity with tools like CRM, email automation, and prospecting tools
• Prior experience in outbound or SDR roles

Responsibilities

Technical Development & Delivery

• Lead the development and release process for assigned products and platform components.
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing applications using .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Develop modern front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks (React / Next.js) or Blazor.NET / WPF.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and APIs.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.

Product & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Participate in technical discussions and product planning, helping prioritize development tasks and improvements.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for relevant product modules when needed.

Database & Platform Support

• Work with Cosmos DB and SQL-based databases to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with DBAs to design and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Support UAT and production environments, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring system reliability.

Quality, Security & Performance

• Work with Quality Assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable software.
• Implement secure coding practices and support vulnerability assessments and security audits.
• Monitor and optimize application and API performance.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms to support system observability.

Mentorship & Team Development

• Mentor and support junior developers and new team members.
• Promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation across the engineering team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and engineering processes.

Absolute Must have’s (essential requirements)

• Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+ development.
• Experience with at least one of the following front-end technologies:
• Blazor.NET or WPF
• JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and domain-driven design.
• Experience with SQL Server / PostgreSQL and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with tools such as Syncfusion, Datatables, and AutoMapper.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to have (preferred/optional  requirements)

• Experience working with modular application frameworks such as ABP.IO.
• Understanding of payment systems, financial platforms, or transaction processing systems.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop engaging and informative content for the solar market, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Research and understand target audiences to tailor content accordingly. Ability to draft content for different mediums is a bonus. 
• Work collaboratively with the operations team, sales and marketing team, and other team members to get all aspects of solar covered in content.
• Maintain a strong understanding of current solar market trends and terminology.
• Edit and proofread content to adhere to style guidelines. 
• Stay up-to-date on the latest content marketing trends and best practices.
• Assist with other Marketing & Communications collaterals on a need basis.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication or relevant field
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in content writing for B2b, SaaS or technical topics
• Strong understanding of Solar terminology and market trends is appreciated
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content
• Proven ability to research and gather information effectively.

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design, and coding of websites specifically in PHP format.
