We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about creating a steadfast, reliable platform that exemplifies our excellent user experience and enjoys taking on new challenges. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the site/platform reliability and deployment processes supporting our Test Prep applications.

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in CI/CD pipelines to deploy to VM and PaaS instances using AWS/Azure DevOps services
• 2+ years of experience in supporting and maintaining AWS/Azure Infrastructure and Linux/Windows servers
• Experience with deployment of infrastructure and applications in AWS/Azure
• Experience with Build technologies and cloud services (Jenkins/Azure DevOps or AWS CodeDeploy)
• Experience in creating CI/CD pipelines using YAML script
• Expertise in source code management systems like GIT and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of Branching, Merging, and release strategies
• Strong experience in scripting with PowerShell/Bash/Python/YAML, etc.
• Knowledge of Monitoring tools (Newrelic, Log analytics workspace, Nagios, Splunk, and CloudWatch)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Web Server (IIS), and Linux Web Server (Apache) Administration
• Operational and/or development experience in the AWS/Azure cloud (PaaS and SaaS)

 

• Provide day-to-day support in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Own the complete DevOps process (source code to release) for all environments (Development, Testing, Staging/UAT/PreProd, and Production)
• Create processes to build and deploy, monitor, and maintain applications
• Provide day-to-day support in maintenance of AWS/Azure Cloud and on-premises environments
• Support the entire production and staging environments for reliability, uptime, with 99.99%
• Configure monitoring and alerting systems for the applications and platform services
• Perform troubleshooting on performance issues, automated job failures, high availability solutions, and backup/restore issues
• Should be familiar with capacity planning, autoscaling, and Disaster Recovery(DR)
• Collaborate with the Technology Services team to develop CI/CD solutions that improve efficiency and optimize the deployment time.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Ability to keep up with software development trends and innovation
• Troubleshoot server performance issues and handling of continuous integration system
• Provide maintenance, Support 24/7 collaborating with developers on software requirements

 

What will you be responsible for?

• As an Oracle Cloud ERP Developer, you are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining RICE Objects. Your specialization will be focused on cloud architecture, application integration, and cloud application development using Oracle Cloud.
• Deliver innovative integration solutions using Oracle's PaaS offerings and maintain or enhance the existing integration solution.
• Deliver technical expertise and technical leadership when implementing solutions and developments.
• Assist with defining Scope and estimates for new project or builds.
• Collaborate by sharing knowledge and best practice within the practice and cross lines of business.
• Develop peer network to provide and receive product and skills assistance.
• Draft and review the Technical Specification documents.
• Conduct and attend internal trainings and workshops

What would your day look like?

• Collaborate with Implementation Partner and IS teams across Providence and deliver New Builds, builds via Change requests, Data Conversions, Testing and Document Reviews

Who are we looking for?

• 4+ years of Experience with at least 2 Cloud ERP HCM Implementations
• Hands on experience in any of these modules - Core HR/Payroll/Benefits/Compensation/ORC
• Experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (PaaS) ideally with integrations to/from Oracle Cloud Application.
• Hand on experience in building integration/interfaces based on webservices (SOAP and REST), File based interfaces (Batch Processing), Database (SQL and PLSQL).
• Good understanding on file handling process using OIC with various file types like XML, CSV and JSON.
• Ability to understand and develop complex integrations and should have good knowledge in integration patterns and error handling mechanism.
• Good understanding of Oracle PaaS architecture and security concepts Comfortable in XML and XSLT processing.
• Experience in ERP Cloud with knowledge in modules like Core HR, Payroll, Benefits and Absence Management.
• Should be well versed with Fusion HCM data load capabilities like HDL, PBL, Spreadsheet Loader.
• Should have worked on Oracle Fusion Functional Setup Manager (FSM) to implement enhancements.
• Should be aware of customization process in ERP Cloud: Sandboxes, Page Integrations, Application and Page Composer etc.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.

A strong background in Azure OR Amazon Web Services (AWS) or a similar cloud platform is a must-have, certification is a plus.

Excellent technical skills and knowledge include but not limited to: cloud methodologies like PaaS and SaaS; programming languages such as Python, Java, .Net; orchestration systems such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform; Azure IaaS servers; PowerShell scripting.

Fully aware of the DevOps cycle with hands-on on deployment models to the cloud.

Experience working with Docker and related containerization technologies.

Experience working on orchestration platforms such as AKS, RedHat OpenShift etc.

Extensive knowledge working with logging and monitoring tools such as EFK, visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

Exposure to security alert monitoring tools.

Experience in building both microservices and public facing API's.- Experience in working with any of the API gateways.
