Job Title: QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to join a

fast-paced product team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality,

reliability, and performance of a modern SaaS platform through structured

manual and automation testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers,

and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software releases on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

● Design, review, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases for web-based applications

● Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing across multiple modules

● Identify, log, and track defects clearly, ensuring proper follow-up and closure

● Validate bug fixes and feature enhancements before production releases

● Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently

● Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide early QA feedback

● Maintain and update test cases, test scenarios, and automation scripts based on product changes

● Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, test coverage, and release quality

Role Overview

The Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer will lead the design, development, and maintenance of Government of Rajasthan’s portal websites built on the AEM platform. This role involves leading technical solutions, performance optimization, security compliance, and guiding the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex components and templates in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Manage AEM configurations, workflows, and permissions for multiple portals.
• Develop and integrate custom OSGi bundles, Sling models, and components.
• Ensure performance tuning, caching strategies, and scalability of AEM solutions.
• Handle dispatcher configuration and optimization for content delivery.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers for solution design.
• Ensure compliance with Safe-to-Host and OWASP security standards.
• Mentor junior developers and review their code for quality.
• Integrate with third-party services (Payment Gateway, SMS Gateway, etc.).
• Manage version control (Git) and deployment pipelines (Jenkins).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.3 or above).
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, OSGi, Apache Sling, JCR (Jackrabbit Oak).
• Hands-on experience with HTL (Sightly), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Good understanding of Dispatcher, Apache HTTP Server, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and system integration.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
• Excellent problem-solving and team leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

Adobe Certified Expert (AEM Sites Developer or Architect).

MUST have skills (not just a class room training experience please) –

1. Hands on experience on Postman/ SOAP UI/ REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testing
2. Hands on experience on GIT, JIRA, Jenkins
3. Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE) an it’s working
4. Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax
5. Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML, Message Request-Response mechanism
6. Working experience in Agile methodology.
7. Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
8. The candidate should be good with communication as he/she will be interacting with global teams very often.

GOOD to have –

1. Understanding of STUB/Service virtualization
2. Understanding of any API testing tools like –Rest Client, Anypoint etc.
3. Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements.

Key Activities

• Primary responsibility for test automation within Agile delivery streams
• Experience with building test automation frameworks and Continued Integration
  • Some amount of manual exploratory testing
  • Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting
  • Defect management lifecycle exposure (using Jira) from defect reporting to tracking to closure
  • Writing test plans and test completion reports
  • Active in Agile meetings when required for planning, retrospectives
