Responsibilities

Objective: Role Overview

• We are looking for a driven and result-oriented professional to lead and grow the Nutanix business. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue through channel partners, enterprise accounts, and direct engagement, with a focus on Nutanix's HCI, cloud platform, and software solutions portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Nutanix solutions (HCI, AHV, NDB, Objects, Frame, GPT-in-a-Box) across enterprise and mid-market accounts
• Generate and manage sales opportunities for Nutanix products and solutions, identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable infrastructure and cloud solutions
• Identify, develop, and manage channel partners, resellers, and system integrators to grow the Nutanix pipeline
• Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, channel partners, and system integrators
• Own and achieve quarterly and annual revenue, margin, and business targets for the Nutanix practice
• Conduct product presentations, demos, POCs, and solution workshops with customers and partners
• Coordinate with technical/pre-sales teams for solution designing and proposal submissions
• Collaborate with Nutanix's regional team for deal registration, co-selling, and joint go-to-market activities
• Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and prospecting to proposal, negotiation, and closure
• Develop new accounts while managing existing customer relationships
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast reporting through CRM tools, with regular follow-ups
• Stay updated on the latest Nutanix technologies, cloud trends, and the competitive landscape (VMware, HPE SimpliVity, Dell VxRail) to position Nutanix effectively
• Work closely with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for deal closures

Skills Needed

Good to Have

• Nutanix certification (NCP, NCX, or similar) or other cloud certifications
• Experience working with IT distributors, System Integrators, Channel Partners, or VADs
• Familiarity with VMware, HPE, or Dell EMC competitive positioning
• Understanding of AI/ML infrastructure and cloud-native workloads
• CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar)
• Experience working with OEMs like Nutanix, VMware, Dell, HPE, Cisco, or Lenovo
• Knowledge of channel sales and partner ecosystem

Key Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of IT sales experience, preferably in infrastructure or cloud solutions (candidates with 2–6 years of strong enterprise/product sales experience in IT infrastructure or cloud may also be considered)
• Prior experience selling HCI, virtualisation, or cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing, and data center technologies
• Strong channel and partner management skills, with ability to handle enterprise sales cycles and customer meetings independently
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Target-driven, self-motivated approach with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Knowledge of the local enterprise accounts market

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
