About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Growth & Retention Associate to design, implement, and optimize user retention strategies within our subscription-based product. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and refining effective push notification and email marketing flows, ensuring our users remain engaged and satisfied. The Retention Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams—such as Product, Marketing, and Analytics—to develop data-driven campaigns and continually improve overall user retention and lifetime value (LTV).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Retention Strategies: Design comprehensive lifecycle marketing plans for push notifications and email campaigns, aimed at reducing churn and increasing user engagement.
- Create & Refine Flows: Build detailed user flows for automated campaigns (onboarding, reactivation, upsells, etc.) that cater to different segments and stages of the subscription lifecycle.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track, analyze, and interpret key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, LTV, etc.) to measure campaign success and identify optimization opportunities.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Customer Support teams to ensure messaging consistency, gather customer insights, and align on strategic goals.
- A/B Testing: Continuously test variations of messaging, timing, and segmentation across push and email channels to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- User Segmentation: Identify and create user segments based on in-app behavior, purchase history, and other relevant data points for personalized messaging.
- Retention Tools & Platforms: Oversee the selection, integration, and maintenance of CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools to streamline workflow and improve campaign performance.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all email and push campaigns comply with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and industry best practices to maintain a positive brand reputation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in retention marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a subscription-based or mobile app environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with email service providers (ESPs), push notification platforms, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
