Job Description – General Manager Sales –

Department: Business Development / Sales

Location: Bangalore

Reporting To: Director

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Sales to lead national sales and business development initiatives in the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) sector. The candidate will be responsible for revenue growth, strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, key accounts, and market expansion across India.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans.
• Identify new business opportunities in Government, Smart City, Highways, Metro Rail, Airports, ULBs, and Private Infrastructure.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and system integrators.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and project handover.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals with internal teams.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, MIS reports, and revenue targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, government policies, and new opportunities.
• Drive business in ITS, Traffic Management, Smart Mobility, AI-based Traffic Analytics, Road Safety, and Digital Infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Management preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ITS, Smart Mobility, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Technology, Smart City, or Infrastructure.
• Experience with Government departments, NHAI, MoRTH, State Highways, Smart City Missions, Metro Rail, Airports, or Municipal Corporations preferred.
