Job Title: Game Researcher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Game Researcher to study gaming trends, gameplay mechanics, customer behavior, and competitor strategies. The ideal candidate should have strong research skills, a passion for gaming, and the ability to convert insights into actionable recommendations for game design, content, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on gaming trends, genres, market patterns, and upcoming technologies.
• Analyze competitor games, gameplay mechanics, art styles, monetization models, and user experience.
• Study player behavior, preferences, and feedback from multiple platforms.
• Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, and presentations for internal teams.
• Assist game designers with data-driven insights to enhance gameplay, storylines, character design, and user engagement.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data through surveys, user reviews, social media, and platforms like Steam, Play Store, and App Store.
• Monitor industry news, esports trends, and updates from major game studios.
• Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to support decision-making.
• Test and evaluate games to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, Psychology, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for gaming with good knowledge of popular games, genres, and platforms.
• Basic understanding of gameplay mechanics, user experience, and monetization models.
• Ability to interpret data and create clear reports or presentations.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
