Experience Required

o Oracle Database: SQL development, performance tuning, data modelling

o Oracle BI Publisher: Report design, template customization, data source integration

Technical Skills

• Mandatory:

o Oracle SQL & PL/SQL

o BI Publisher report development and deployment

o XML and XSLT for template customization

• Preferred:

o Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite or Fusion Applications

o Familiarity with data visualization principles

o Basic understanding of performance metrics and report optimization

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BI Publisher reports based on business requirements

• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure report accuracy and usability

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and report performance

• Document technical specifications and maintain version control

• Binding of UI elements to JavaScript object models
• Creating RESTful services with Node.js
• MERN stack developer must have proven experience in front & back-end development
• Work in a cross-functional team to deliver a complete user experience
• Developer must expertise into MongoDB, Express, Node.js, & React.
• Create Unit and Integration tests to ensure the quality of code
• MERN full stack developer must have the ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly
• Understanding & proficiency in REST APIs.
• MERN stack developer should know Git Repository and Jira.
• Integration of data storage solutions [RDBMS, NoSQL DB]
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions

About Us:

We’re looking to hire someone to help scale Machine Learning and NLP efforts at Episource. You’ll work with the team that develops the models powering Episource’s product focused on NLP driven medical coding. Some of the problems include improving our ICD code recommendations , clinical named entity recognition and information extraction from clinical notes.

This is a role for highly technical engineers who combine outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to code up prototypes and productionalize using a large range of tools, frameworks, and languages. Most importantly they need to have the ability to autonomously plan and organize their work assignments based on high-level team goals.

What you will do at Episource:

You will be responsible for setting an agenda to develop and build machine learning platforms that positively impact the business, working with partners across the company including operations and engineering. You will be working closely with the machine learning team to design and implement back end components and services. You will be evaluating new technologies, enhancing the applications, and providing continuous improvements to produce high quality software.

Required Skills:

• Strong background in analytics, BI or data science deployments is preferable with 2-6 years of experience

• Knowledge of React/Vue, HTML, CSS

• Experience building and consuming APIs 

• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB and MEAN stack 

• Knowledge and experience with serverless architectures is a plus

• Hands-on experience with AWS or any major cloud service provider for deploying solutions

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes in deploying solutions on the cloud

• Hands-on experience Python, Apache Spark & Big Data platforms to manipulate large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.

• Fluent in data fundamentals: SQL, data manipulation using a procedural language, statistics, experimentation, and modeling

Job Responsibilities:

• Be a part of a team developing a rapidly growing product used by thousands of small businesses.
• Responsible for building large scale applications that are high performance, scalable, and resilient in an microservices environment
• Evaluate new technologies and tools such as new frameworks, methodologies, best practices and other areas that will improve overall efficiencies and product quality

Skill Set:

• 3+ years of working experience in developing API centric core Java/J2EE applications using Spring boot, JPA, REST API, XML and JSON
• Experience in frontend framework - any one of Backbone, Angular, Vue or React
• Working experience in any one of the Cloud Platforms - Google Cloud (preferable) or AWS
• Experience in large scale databases - NoSQL and MongoDB.
• Hands on experience in Eclipse based development and using Git, SVN, Junit
• Past experience in startups or product development is a big plus.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience,
• Proficiency in web scripting programming with PHP,
• Experience with MySQL Databases,
• Top-notch programming skills in JavaScript and a strong understanding of web fundamentals,
• Design, build and maintain high performance, scalable and secure code,
• Experience with cloud services like AWS is plus,
• Experience with MVC architecture is a plus,
• Knowledge / experience in building an API,
• Solid understanding of the foundations of security and best practices,
• Good grasp of data structures and algorithms,
• Excellent problem-solving skills,
• Take ownership of the backend services, ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness, as well as maintaining code quality, organisation and testing/deployment,
