Title: Hands‑on Tech Lead (AI Agents, Automations, Chatbots)

Type: Full‑time (preferred) or full‑time‑equivalent contractor

Location: Remote (India-friendly), must overlap with founder for live collaboration

Comp: Flexible; you indicated up to ~$50k/year is comfortable for the right person

Why this role exists

We build and deploy rough-but-working “minimum viable applications” fast (days/weeks, not months) for small businesses, then gradually extract reusable components so the best solutions become repeatable products.

You’ll be the engineering owner who can design + ship, keep quality “clean enough,” and avoid the long-term trap of one-off scripts.

What you’ll build

• AI-agent driven automations using n8n (including agentic workflows, tool usage, memory/DB access, and production hardening). n8n explicitly positions AI Agents as autonomous workflows that make decisions and execute tasks, and provides dedicated AI agent capability pages/docs.  
• Conversational chatbots (web + messaging + optionally voice) with reliable orchestration, state, and analytics
• Voice experiences using ElevenLabs Text‑to‑Speech (and optionally Speech‑to‑Text), including real-time or low-latency flows.  
• Admin/internal tooling (e.g., Retool) to manage clients, prompts, workflows, logs, and operations. Retool’s own positioning: connect to databases/APIs/LLMs and build internal tools.  
• (If applicable) Voice agent platforms such as Retell AI (inbound/outbound voice agent platform + docs).  

Responsibilities

Shipping (hands-on)

• Build the first end‑to‑end “vertical slices” yourself (agent/workflow → backend/service → DB → UI/admin → deployment).
• Deliver working MVAs rapidly; optimize for time-to-deploy while maintaining baseline reliability.

Architecture & productization

• Define a lightweight but real architecture that supports:
• multi-client deployments (config/tenant separation)
• prompt/version management
• logging + observability
• secure secret handling
• repeatable integrations and “workflow templates”
• 
  
• Establish “golden path” patterns so new projects are mostly configuration + reuse.

Leadership

• Lead (and unblock) an Implementation Engineer: tickets, code review, standards, and technical direction.
• Produce short docs and checklists so others can build consistently.

Required experience (must-haves)

• Strong full‑stack fundamentals (API design, auth, data modeling, debugging, deployments).
• Proven experience building automation/workflow systems (preferably n8n in production).
• Experience with LLM + agent patterns: tool calling, retrieval/RAG, structured outputs, prompt/versioning, evaluation, failure handling.
• Conversational chatbot experience (web or messaging). Voice is a plus.
• Ability to design databases and data flows (Postgres/MySQL/etc.), including migrations and indexing.
• Strong written communication: can turn ambiguous needs into a plan, and can document the “how to run it.”

Strong plus

• Retool (or similar low-code internal tooling) experience.  
• ElevenLabs voice integration (TTS/STT) in production.  
• Experience with Retell AI or similar voice-agent platforms (Vapi/Retell/etc.).  
• Experience self-hosting and operating systems: Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, secrets.

Senior Software Engineer.

• A degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience in developing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) data pipelines.
• Ability to build full-stack applications using JavaScript; experience with modern frameworks like React and Next.js is highly desirable.
• A pragmatic and self-starting individual, capable of executing tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
• Experience developing modern frontend applications, with specific expertise in using Web Components.
• Knowledge of simulation principles and discrete optimisation techniques.
• Relevant professional certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or cloud platforms are a plus.

Experience

• Proven track record building AI (e.g. LLM-powered solutions, Agent-Based Applications), data science, or numerical computing projects end-to-end—from initial concept through to deployment and maintenance.
• Extensive hands-on experience (4+ years) with core technologies, including:
• Advanced Python, utilising libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and frameworks for multiprocessing and asynchronous programming.
• Relational database management systems.
• Development and deployment within Linux environments.
• Collaborative development workflows using Git.

Python Data Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain database scripts and procedures to support

application requirements.

• Collaborate with software developers to integrate database scripts with

application code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.

• Perform database maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and migrations.

• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

• Develop and maintain documentation for database scripts and procedures.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in database

management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of Proven experience as a Database Engineer or similar role with python

• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Js.

• Strong understanding of database management systems, including relational

databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g.,

MongoDB, Cassandra).

• Experience with database design principles and data modelling techniques.

• Knowledge of database optimisation techniques and performance tuning.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration

tools.

Job Description

Skills and Qualifications
Back End : NodeJS and / or PHP

1. We need strong SOL and PL/SQL skills
2. UI – any like Javascript, HTML, CSS. Oracle Apex is nice to have.
3. The candidates should have worked on live projects that have given them exposure to write code, unit test and deliver.
4. Having WebServices experience is a value add.
5. Exposure to complex enterprise applications, integrations etc would be really needed.

1. We are looking for candidates who have good programming skills. Strong on data structures, algorithms, understand time space complexity, able to come up with multiple solutions and then arrive at most optimized one keeping in mind customer requirements. Should also be well aware of OO concepts. If he / she has a strong background on these areas ( in any programming language), half the job is done. – 50% weightage
2. Next the candidate should have worked on JS  with good hands on experience in a few projects mainly in backend development like making api calls, handling exception, models, data transformations, controllers etc.  – 20-30% weightage
3. The last would be having some experience in any one of react.js/ node.js or even angular.js since some of these are being used in the current project. – 20-30% weightage
4. Prefer candidates with Angular (ver 8+), react (ver 16+), Node (Ver 14+) and extremely good in JavaScript, HTML & CSS
