KeyNest solves the key exchange problem for Airbnb users. Our worldwide network of over 4,000 shops store keys so that Airbnb guests / cleaners / contractors can pick them up whenever is convenient for them. As a global partner of Airbnb we’ve checked-in over 2 million guests.

A product manager, a team lead, two full-stack developers, one mobile developer, and a UX designer make up our product team. Who will serve as your mentor. We are looking for a developer who cares about how their code affects users so that we can work together.

Your qualities

• 5+ years experience in C#
• Experience with .NET core
• Front-end web experience in Angular and CSS
• Track record of building great products

Responsibilities : 

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions. 
• Develop and maintain scalable software solutions with Ruby on Rails as the core technology stack.
• Develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges in development. 
• Utilize Docker containers for efficient environment management and deployment.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. 
• Implement and maintain database solutions in MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Test and ensure that the application works correctly across different browsers and devices. 
• Build and optimize user interfaces using React.js with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Ensure robustness, performance, and security of the applications.
• Take full responsibility for project deliverables from conception to deployment.
• Design user-side and server-side architecture. 
• Maintain code integrity and organization, including performing code reviews and enhancing code quality.

Requirements :

• Demonstrable skills with Node.js and React.js, building and maintaining complex solutions.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work effectively both as an individual contributor and within a collaborative team environment.
• Eagerness to take full ownership of deliverables, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Great attention to detail Organizational skills. 

Qualifications : 

• Internship or 6 months experience as a full stack developer working with ruby on rails.
• Experience developing and deploying dynamic and responsive web applications.
• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality software. 
• A bright and passionate mind with relevant prior experience in web development (frontend, backend and database management) is welcome to apply. 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, adapting to varying demands with resilience.

You will leverage your technical expertise to drive the development of our website, property manager tools.

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of experience
• Excellent in cross-browser web development using Python/Django.
• Really good understanding of HTML, CSS, Jquery
• Strong database concepts 
• Experience with DevOps practices and platforms (AWS, Fabric, Apache/Linux etc)
• Really good UX/UI sense
• Experience with caching technologies, NoSql databases
• Leadership skills, ability to handle, mentor junior developers
• Prior startup experience is a plus

What you will be doing?

• Develop high-volume, low-latency global products
• Take ownership of all web based product feature enhancements
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Work with product/design team to come up with an awesome product design/workflow
• Write well designed, testable, efficient, reusable code. 
• Investigate and present technology solutions and contribute to architectural improvements
• Mentor/Lead junior developers

• Minimum of 1-2  years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with  React.js, Node.js, Next.js, and JS libraries.
• Must have an understanding of web3 and blockchain fundamentals.
• An exceptional understanding of secure and scalable application development, including the full lifecycle of API microservices services, including authentication, API gateways, and versioning.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Ability to wear many hats and learn new technologies quickly.
• Solid knowledge of web architecture and design patterns.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Backend and Frontend technologies
• Hands-on experience in building REST API using NodeJs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail.
