Job Title: AWS DevOps Engineer

Experience Level: 5+ Years

Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai and Gurgaon

Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer with strong execution skills to provision and manage cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux, AWS services, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and should be capable of troubleshooting complex issues in cloud and container environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provision AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC).
• Manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters (EKS/ECS).
• Work with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ALB, WAF, and CloudFront.
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Maintain documentation of infrastructure and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Basic experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Preferred:

• AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.

Key Skills Required:

·         You will be part of the DevOps engineering team, configuring project environments, troubleshooting integration issues in different systems also be involved in building new features for next generation of cloud recovery services and managed services. 

·         You will directly guide the technical strategy for our clients and build out a new capability within the company for DevOps to improve our business relevance for customers. 

·         You will be coordinating with Cloud and Data team for their requirements and verify the configurations required for each production server and come with Scalable solutions.

·         You will be responsible to review infrastructure and configuration of micro services and packaging and deployment of application

To be the right fit, you'll need:

·         Expert in Cloud Services like AWS.

·         Experience in Terraform Scripting.

·         Experience in container technology like Docker and orchestration like Kubernetes.

·         Good knowledge of frameworks such as Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, Bamboo Etc.

·         Experience with various version control system like GIT, build tools (Mavan, ANT, Gradle ) and cloud automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

• Configure, optimize, document, and support of the infrastructure components of software products (which are hosted in collocated facilities and cloud services such as AWS)
• Design and build tools and frameworks that support deployment and management and platforms
• Design, build, and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructures
• Build core functionality of our cloud-based platform product, deliver secure, reliable services and construct third party integrations
• Assist in coaching application developers on proper DevOps techniques for building scalable applications in the microservices paradigm
• Foster collaboration with software product development and architecture teams to ensure releases are delivered with repeatable and auditable processes
• Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restores of different environments
• Work independently across multiple platforms and applications to understand dependencies
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of continuous integration environments
• Design and architect solutions for existing client-facing applications as they are moved into cloud environments such as AWS
• Competencies
• Full understanding of scripting and automated process management in languages such as Shell, Ruby and/ or Python
• Working Knowledge SCM tools such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.
• Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services and related APIs
• Ability to deliver and manage web or cloud-based services
• General familiarity with monitoring tools
• General familiarity with configuration/provisioning tools such as Terraform
• Experience
• Experience working within an Agile type environment
• 4+ years of experience with cloud-based provisioning (Azure, AWS, Google), monitoring, troubleshooting, and related DevOps technologies
• 4+ years of experience with containerization/orchestration technologies like Rancher, Docker and Kubernetes

• Own the end-to-end infrastructure of Sibros Cloud
• Define and introduce security best practices, identify gaps in infrastructure and come up with solutions
• Design and implement tools and software to manage Sibros’ infrastructure
• Stay hands-on, write and review code and documentation, debug and root cause issues in production environment

• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to manage multi-cloud environments using cloud agnostic tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Passionate about security and have good understanding of industry best practices
• Experience in programming languages like Python, Golang, and enjoying automating everything using code
• Good skills and intuition on root cause issues in production environment

• Experience in database and network management
• Experience in defining security policies and best practices
• Experience in managing a large scale multi cloud environment
• Knowledge of SOC, GDPR or ISO 27001 security compliance standards is a plus

Preferred Skills Sets                                                                      

• Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures.
• Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers.
• Person must have performed Application Architect Role for 3+ years
• AWS platform specific experience a bonus.
• Enterprise application and database architecture a bonus.
