Role Overview :

We are a funded AI startup seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure. In this role, you will focus on automating operations, optimizing deployment processes, and enabling engineering teams to deliver high-quality products seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Scalability & Reliability :

• Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure for high availability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes or Docker Compose.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi or Terraform to manage and configure infrastructure.

Deployment Automation :

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Implement deployment strategies such as canary or blue-green deployments, and create rollback mechanisms to ensure seamless updates.

Monitoring & Observability :

• Leverage tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Datadog to monitor system health and performance.
• Establish centralized logging systems and create real-time dashboards for actionable insights.

Security & Compliance :

• Securely manage secrets using tools like HashiCorp Vault or Doppler.
• Conduct static code analysis with tools such as SonarQube or Snyk to ensure compliance with security standards.

Collaboration & Team Enablement :

• Mentor and guide team members on DevOps best practices and workflows.
• Document infrastructure setups, incident runbooks, and troubleshooting workflows to enhance team efficiency.

Required Skills :

• Expertise in managing cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Advanced scripting capabilities in Python or Bash.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for debugging production systems and optimizing performance.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable and secure infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and a proven track record in automating and optimizing complex workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Management:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud resources.

Containerization & Orchestration:

• Develop and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters.

CI/CD Pipelines:

• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process.
• Implement monitoring and alerting to ensure pipeline efficiency.

Version Control & Collaboration:

• Manage code repositories and workflows using Git.

We are looking for very hands-on SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience. The person will be part of team that is responsible for designing & implementing automation from scratch for medium to large scale cloud infrastructure and providing 24x7 services to our North American / European customers. This also includes ensuring ~100% uptime for almost 50+ internal sites. The person is expected to deliver with both high speed and high quality as well as work for 40 Hours per week (~6.5 hours per day, 6 days per week) in shifts which will rotate every month.

This person MUST have:

• B.E Computer Science or equivalent
• 2+ Years of hands-on experience troubleshooting/setting up of the Linux environment, who can write shell scripts for any given requirement.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up/configuring AWS or GCP services from SCRATCH and maintaining them.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up/configuring Kubernetes & EKS and ensuring high availability of container orchestration.
• 1+ Years of hands-on experience setting up CICD from SCRATCH in Jenkins & Gitlab.
• Experience configuring/maintaining one monitoring tool.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Candidates with certifications - AWS, GCP, CKA, etc will be preferred
• Hands-on experience with databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, MySQL, RDS).

Experience:

• Min 3 years of experience as SRE automation engineer building, running, and maintaining production sites. Not looking for candidates who have experience only as L1/L2 or Build & Deploy..

Timings:

• The person is expected to deliver with both high speed and high quality as well as work for 40 Hours per week (~6.5 hours per day, 6 days per week) in shifts which will rotate every month.

The expectation is to set up complete automation of CI/CD pipeline & monitoring and ensure high availability of the pipeline. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Configure Jenkins with load distribution between master/slave Setting up the CI pipeline with Jenkins and Cloud(AWS or Azure) Code Build Static test (Quality & Security) Setting up Dynamic Test configuration with selenium and other tools Setting up Application and Infrastructure scanning for security. Post-deployment security plan including PEN test. Usage of RASP tool. Configure and ensure HA of the pipeline and monitoring Setting up composition analysis in the pipeline Setting up the SCM and Artifacts repository and management for branching, merging and archiving Must work in Agile environment using ALM tool like Jira DESIRED SKILLS

Extensive hands-on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery technology experience of .Net, Node, Java and C++ based projects(Web, mobile and Standalone). Experience configuring and managing

• ALM tools like Jira, TFS, etc.
• SCM such as GitHub, GitLab, CodeCommit
• Automation tools such as Terraform, CHEF, or Ansible
• Package repo configuration(Artifactory / Nexus), Package managers like Nuget & Chocholatey
