As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and systems using Node.js, a JavaScript runtime environment. Your expertise in backend development, JavaScript, TypeScript, and REST APIs will play an essential role in creating efficient and powerful server-side applications.

Responsibilities:

● Design and implement efficient, secure, and maintainable server-side code using Node.js.

● Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

● Develop APIs for seamless data flow between the front-end and back-end.

● Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following:

● Minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a backend developer.

● Must have proven experience as a Back-End Developer, with a focus on Node.js.

● Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and related frameworks (Express.js, Hapi.js, etc.).

● Experience with RESTful API design principles.

● Experience with agile development methodologies.

● Familiarity with working with at least one of PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

● Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

● Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Added bonus:

● Familiarity with frontend development technologies like HTML and CSS.

● Experience working with Docker, Github Actions, and other common CI/CD pipelines

● Knowledge about AWS components (S3, EC2, Cloudfront, Redis Clusters, etc.)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Requirements:

Java developer responsibilities include designing, developing, Testing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Participate in requirements gathering, identify and document user needs after extensive research through interviews and discussions with target users and stakeholders from the business. 
• Design effective new user experiences as well as improve existing ones. Validate the created User Experiences to meet envisaged goals and stipulated standards. All this should be done within agile sprints.
• You are expected to collaborate across the spectrum with product development and marketing teams to facilitate dissipation of the deeper context of the product being worked upon. 

Expected Expertise: 

• Preferably have a B.Des/DesDegree or equivalent degree with experience in Design industry with an amazing design portfolio. Have 0-3 years of experience in UX Research. 
• A user-centred approach to design with experience in conducting user research 
• Experience in employing any of the relevant research methods: unmoderated sessions, Tree sorts, surveys, A/B tests, ethnographic enquiries, UX heuristics and benchmarking, to name a few.
• Effective Communication and collaboration skills that enable team-members to build robust products from the researched insights.
• Should be eager to see the bigger picture by connecting the dots of the product, users, stakeholders and context.

Role Summary:

Qualification

• A Bachelors or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute

• Support the transition by planning and overseeing the transfer of members from one location to another, including but not limited to operational readiness, support documentation, knowledge transfer and acceptance checklists
• Support in ensuring transition activity is planned and executed to schedule, budget and scope
• Support in establishing transition end to end plans including infrastructure support models, change management, risk assessment and mitigation, resource planning and service management with clear tollgates
• Liaise with transition lead on milestone scheduling, knowledge transfer activities, and communication of progress (KPIs)
• Keep stakeholders involved in transition process and update them with the progress and roadblocks
• Promote awareness of transition planning and support processes within the GCC
• Support the Transition Lead to source and assess opportunities to expand the centre (including assessment of Make vs. Buy, offshore / on shore)
• Work directly with third party resources on a day-to-day basis to support the transition process during the set-up of the GCC

Skills:

• Proven knowledge of service transition methodology, tools and templates through experience or qualifications
• The ability to identify, escalate and manage project risks with the Transition Lead
• 3+ years of experience transitioning / offshoring / outsourcing projects / functions across sub processes such as Biostatistics, reg. affairs, clinical ops, drug safety, medical Governance, strategy and planning, pharma covigilance
• Good exposure in previous roles to multi-cultural, transversal functions
• Pharma background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in different project phases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
