Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with strong design, prototyping, and front-end development skills. You will play a key role in shaping user experiences and interfaces for our digital products. Key Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web, mobile, and software applications.

• Translate business and user requirements into effective, elegant UI designs.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design within a product or SaaS company.
• Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Strong front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, ReactJS, Git.
• Experience with WordPress and WIX for building and managing website content.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design and accessibility standards.
• Solid knowledge of branding, brand design, and marketing integration.
• Excellent portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a user-first mindset.

Summary:

The Learner Company is an education start-up that designs personalized learning experiences by integrating them with the best of what technology offers. We are currently building an online learning engine to host adaptive online courses, simulations, and multiplayer games for institutional partners. We are now in the software development stage of the project.

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join our development team. The developer will be responsible for the overall development and implementation of front and back-end software applications. Their responsibilities will extend from designing system architecture to high-level programming, performance testing, and systems integration.

Requirements

We're looking to hire expert Laravel developers with strong command over database concepts and preferably, ability to work as a full stack developer utilising Angular/Laravel or Vue as a frontend tech stack. Minimum 4 years experience is required.

As a senior software developer, we expect the following qualifications:

Qualifications include:

• Strong CS fundamentals including familiarity with data structures and especially the asynchronous challenges that face JavaScript developers today.   
• Experience developing in at least 2 server side languages (PHP, node.js, …)  
• Experience developing in at least 1 client side JS framework (ReactJS, Angular, …)  
• Experience testing software in alignment with the Test Pyramid.  
• Experience with datastores, either SQL (MySQL preferred) or NoSQL, and the ability to talk deeply about them.  
• Able to identify the source of complex problems occurring as a result of multiple systems interacting (experience with observability tools such as datadog/newrelic is a plus).
