Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, ETL, and modern data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and building scalable data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Airflow, and modern data lake technologies such as Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Build and optimize data processing workflows using Python and Google Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam).
• Develop and manage large-scale analytical data models in BigQuery.
• Implement event-driven data ingestion using Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
• Create, schedule, and monitor workflows using Apache Airflow and Autosys.
• Design and implement modern data lake architectures using Apache Iceberg or Delta Lake.
• Optimize query performance, storage, and compute costs in GCP.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across data platforms.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Application teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve pipeline reliability and performance.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–8+ years of experience in Data Engineering with hands-on expertise in GCP technologies.

• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Airflow.
• Experience scheduling and monitoring batch workflows using Autosys.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create services and system architecture for your projects, while working.
• Closely with the product, design and engineering team.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products.
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
• Own services related to OkCredit features in active development.
• Develop and deploy required services responsible for evolution of the overall product.
• Do server side development in golang/python preferably (or any other language).

Responsibilities:

• Gather, understand and evaluate user requirements for a marketing technology product focused on US small and medium enterprises
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to the senior leadership in the nascent product
• Work on quickly iterating over wireframes through the product and tech team's feedback
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the product functions
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback

1. Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns
2. Oversee the social media strategy of the brand and work with an agency
3. Periodically run website audits for the company’s websites and pass on feedback to the tech team
4. Oversee and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook, Quora, Youtube, etc.
5. Track and analyze website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports
6. Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion
7. Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)
8. Fix any errors or bugs in online content
9. Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites
10. Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management
11. Write copy for email marketing campaigns
12. Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing
13. Attend networking events

Education Qualifications:

Minimum Graduate, PG & MBA preferred
