Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Developer with expertise in Node.js, Ruby on Rails (RoR), React, and Swift.

The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development experience, and a deep understanding of software architecture, design principles, and TDD best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Backend-Heavy Full-Stack Development : Strong focus on Ruby on Rails (RoR) for backend and React for frontend.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) : Follow TDD principles to ensure high-quality code.
• Software Architecture & Design : Implement scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Data Structures & Algorithms : Optimize performance and ensure efficient solutions.
• Clean Code Practices : Write modular, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Full-Stack Ownership : Manage both backend and frontend development, including deployment.

Technical Skills & Experience :

Must-Have :

• Ruby on Rails (RoR) - Backend
• React.js - Frontend
• Strong expertise in architecture, design, and hands-on development.
• Excellent understanding of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Proven experience with TDD principles.

Good to Have :

• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Swift, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with relational databases and web frameworks
• CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Hudson, or Bamboo.

Python server development using Django, Flask, or other python frameworks.

Experience working with and building RESTful APIs.

Ability to write unit-tested and maintainable code.

Expertise in cloud platforms (preferable AWS: both traditional EC2 and serverless Lambda), micro-services architecture.

Experience with API security frameworks, token management and user access control including OAuth, JWT, etc.

Understanding of caching strategies and implementation (Redis, Memcache, etc.)

• Create, test, and maintain web-based applications using Laravel Framework.
• Work with members of the other teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Implement and manage the entire web application development lifecycle, from conception to delivery and post-launch maintenance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Make use of back-end data services and support the growth of current data services API.
• Effectively communicate all project updates, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, and technical and procedural difficulties.
• The development procedure, architecture, and similar information should all be documented.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

• Seminars for Career Guidance.
• Student counseling for career guidance.
• Advise students and parents about institute’s policies and procedures regarding admission, academics, and other activities.
• Maintain a database of student information, telephone logs and student feedbacks in order to generate student reports.
• Prepare reports and proposals, and respond to inquiries from students and external agencies.
• Tele calling to Potential Students for career guidance.
• Invite Potential Students for campus visit and admission Process (Entrance test, GDPI & Final Admission)
• Accepting and filtering student applications
• Processing student registration and payment
• Communicate with applicants about their application status, including acceptance/rejection
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Content Development for E-Mails, Broachers & Websites

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree; at least 3 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Skills & Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in frontend for desktop and mobile web.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript plus experience with a modern framework (ReactJS is preferred).
• Well-versed in other non-vanilla languages (ex. TypeScript)
• Understanding of GraphQL APIs.
• Possess a deep understanding of basic security aspects on the frontend and how to mitigate them
• Deep understanding of web technologies in various mobile systems
• Have empathy for the users you build for

• Identify & document the Scope of Work (SOW), objectives and any assumptions.
  
• Prepare cost estimates for manpower + materials, and ensure we are charging accurately for our projects.
