Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated penetration testing (PT) for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, networks, and thick client applications.
- Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), including manual techniques.
- Execute dynamic and static analysis (DAST, SAST, MAST) to identify vulnerabilities in various application types.
- Utilize industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite Professional, Qualys, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Wireshark and sqlmap etc.,
- Apply mobile application security tools like Appuse, MOBSF, Postman, Mobisec, and others to identify vulnerabilities in Android and iOS applications.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 for both web and mobile application security.
- Conduct mobile application penetration testing with expertise in Android and iOS platforms.
- Create detailed reports with findings, risk impact, and actionable remediation steps.
Technical Skills
- Strong manual penetration testing skills and proficiency in using automated tools.
- Expertise in tools for web, mobile, and API security assessments.
- Thorough understanding of secure coding practices and risk mitigation.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing results from tools to identify false positives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech or any related field. Equivalent qualifications may also be considered.
Additional Requirements:
- Certifications:CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), PNPT, eJPT, OSCP, or equivalent will be added advantage
