Position Summary

Designing, developing, and debugging new and existing software using Microsoft .Net tools and database platforms. Work in every level of our technology department, providing solutions to meet the needs of our end-users. A Software Engineer will also document solutions and designs, test code modifications and provide mentoring to programmers and junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior engineers to develop high-quality software solutions
• Collaborate with team members to analyze user requirements and design software solutions
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality
• Contribute to the design and architecture of microservices-based applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize software applications

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, Microservices architecture, SQL, and Azure services
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Drive revenue generation by implementing effective sales and retention strategies to achieve AUM targets in the territory.
• Operations Management: Oversee and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch, adhering to operational guidelines and compliance standards.
• Recruitment of Frontline Employees: Identify staffing needs, recruit talented individuals, and build a high-performing team of frontline employees.
• Training and Nurturance: Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to frontline employees to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.
• Risk and Audit and Compliance Adherence: Implement risk management protocols, ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and conduct periodic audits to maintain a secure and compliant environment. Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements at all times, maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
• Liaising with Lending Partner Banks: Foster strong relationships with lending partner banks, collaborate on business strategies, and ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
• Cross-Selling of Third-Party Products: Identify opportunities for cross-selling various third-party products to customers, increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience.
• Building Rupeek Business Partners and DSA Channel: Establish and nurture partnerships with local businesses and develop a robust DSA channel to drive business growth.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on business performance, monitor key metrics, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Ideal Persona: 

• Should be a graduate or above in any stream. 
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and operations management, with at least 2 years in a team-leading role.
• Candidates from BFSI/Fintech/Telecom would be an ideal fit
• Strong background in the BFSI lending business is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

About the Frontend Engineer role

Responsibilities (not exhaustive)

• Lead core development efforts for our front-end applications, ensuring high-quality code that is performant, scalable, secure and maintainable.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to understand user needs and translate them into exceptional user interfaces (UI).
• Partner with the design team to achieve pixel-perfect implementation while maintaining and evolving our design systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable JavaScript with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
• Champion the use of modern build tools like Vite to streamline development workflows.
• Implement effective unit tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Take complete ownership of features, from initial discussions with the product manager to incorporating customer feedback.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of modern front-end architecture and best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

Experience

• Proven experience as a senior frontend engineer with a strong track record of building and shipping complex web applications.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind CSS, Git, npm, and Sentry.
• Familiarity with integration of front-end with backend web services.
• Strong experience with a popular front-end framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js (Vue.js experience a plus).
• Prior experience developing and maintaining a UI component library.
• Familiarity with modern build tools like Vite and a passion for exploring new technologies.
• Understanding of Git version control and experience with GitHub workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced knowledge in web security best practices to write secure and robust front-end code
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Passion for building high-quality user experiences.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
