Chief of Staff
Location: Gurgaon, India
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and inspiring Chief of Staff to oversee our operations whilst
supporting the founders with project management and execution of strategic initiatives. This is
an exciting opportunity in a startup with a mission to revolutionize health care. The ideal
candidate is dedicated to excellence in the workplace, enjoys working with others, and thrives in
a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
You would be expected to:
● Build and lead the daily operations of the executive office
● Build and run cadence for leadership meetings, board meetings, and leadership
offsites, including structuring and helping to deliver company-wide communication
● Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, facilitate special projects, and ensure
action items are executed on behalf of the Co-founders
● Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of
projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between
departments or leadership areas of responsibility
● Acts as an extension of the Co-founders and information funnel, filter, and facilitator
with internal and external stakeholders
● Proactively follow up with the founders if and when goals are not being achieved to
determine why objectives are not being met. Provide actionable recommendations
for improvement
● Promote team integration as well as cross-functional communication and
collaboration
● Manage key relationships and build a process to track and nurture key stakeholders,
investors, and clients
● Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to Co-founders standing in on
meetings, challenging ideas and offering a different perspective, and following up on
action items with the team accordingly
● Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to the co-founders regarding high
impact decisions. Assist and communicate with leadership in decision-making, program
management, and initiative implementation
● Manage all people management, admin and ops processes including building company
culture, HR processes, hiring and annual evaluation processes and policies
● Assist with hiring, including documentation and onboarding, and collaborate to address
and resolve all employee concerns
● Ensure effective company-wide communication and reporting
● Serve as liaison between staff and the company leadership
● Create a collaborative culture and environment and provide staff with the support that
will allow the team to thrive
You would have:
● a minimum of 5 years of outstanding leadership experience
● consulting background in healthcare
● demonstrated ability to run and direct complex projects
● strong organizational skills with entrepreneurial personality
● a proven track record of leading teams and operations
● experience working in fast-paced and high-growth startups
Bonus (Great to have but not required)
● experience within healthcare startups or healthcare corporates in India
● consulting experience with McKinsey, BCG or Bain
