UI Developer

React js Developer,5-7 yrs of experience, location will be Bengaluru, Core front-end developer, must have hands-on strong experience in redux, angular, javascript and typescript

💥 What will you do?

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will

• Own our frontend engineering applications for two products each of which run as independent applications which query our backend systems via REST APIs

• Act as a leader and coach within the front-end engineering team, collaborating with and mentoring senior engineers.

• Collaborate on a daily basis with a small, nimble team of product managers, engineers, and UX designers to understand business requirements and user experience goals and pain points.
• Write and review modular, reusable components and features (React.js / Vue.js) and integrate backend APIs to create a seamless front-end user experience
• Integrate third-party plugins to enhance customer experience. These include 3rd party plugins which provide customer support and analytics plugins that help improve the user experience we provide to customers.
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Work with our quality assurance team to improve coverage on our automated testing suites

📢 Other information you may want to consider 

• We will be flexible for the rest of the pandemic and work remotely; however, we are not a remote-first company, and the work location would be Bangalore when things settle.
• Our frontend tech stack includes React.js, Vue.js, Netlify for CI / CD, TestCafe for UX testing, d3.js, and Regraph for visualizations.

• Your Role and Responsibilities

1. Your main job involves creating new features on the visible parts of a website using React.js.
2. You'll be building reusable components that can be used again in the future, saving time and effort.
3. Designs for the website will be given to you, and you'll convert them into actual working and visually appealing website elements.
4. You'll ensure that the website works smoothly on various devices like phones, tablets, and computers.

• Skills and Traits We're Seeking

1. You have a strong understanding of React.js and its workings.
2. You're skilled in a JavaScript
3. Experience with common React.js workflows like Flux or Redux is important.
4. You're familiar with RESTful APIs.
5. Knowledge of modern security measures like JSON Web Token is important.
6. You're comfortable using tools that streamline the process of building website elements, such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
7. Translating business requirements into technical plans for the website comes naturally to you.
8. You've used version control tools like Git or SVN to manage and track changes in code.

• Expected Experience

1. You should have accumulated 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in this field.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on product experience in professional software development with front end web development and experience in building user interfaces
• At least one year experience with Angular.
• Experience writing good JavaScript code from scratch.
• Familiarity with web development cycles (e. g. package management, module bundling, unit, and integration testing, browser capabilities, etc. ).
• An eye for detail and empathy for the customer.
• Experience building for mobile platforms.
• Ability to write clean, semantic HTML and CSS, agonising along the way for pixel perfection.

• Experience working at a fast-growth startup.
• Experience upgrading angular.

• Experience in functionally and technically leading teams while contributing hands-on on design and code.
• Solid hands-on experience in software development covering Angular 4 to Angular 8 version
• Solid understanding of Node js
• Solid understanding of Jasmine , Karma , protractor
• Solid understanding of agile development model and strong communication, collaboration skills
