React JS Developer

LogiNext is looking for a technically savvy and experienced Software Engineer to take up front-end development efforts. You will design and develop elegant interfaces that exceed client expectations in terms of value and benefit. You will collaborate on scalability issues involving visualizing massive amounts of data and information. You will identify, define and communicate best practices for front end.

You are passionate about building secure, high-performing and scalable front-end applications. Your design intuition inclines towards usability, elegance and simplicity. You are biased towards open-source tools and existing frameworks. You have demonstrated strong inter-personal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Translate wireframes into functional requirements, write well-abstracted, reusable, high-performance code for UI components Work closely with design, product management and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive and interactive interfaces Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high-powered desktop computers to low-end mobile devices Understand and coach/teach others, show a high level of ethics and team-work

Requirements

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 0 to 1 years of experience in developing responsive, elegant, efficient and cross-browser front-end applications using Javascript, HTML5, CSS3 Hands on experience on various MVC frameworks, UI libraries such as ReactJS, D3.js Hands on experience on Map API’s like Google Maps, Openstreetmap and other powerful information-rich maps Familiar with UX processes and design Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision making skills

Role

Front-end engineers at AssetSprout work on our products. They include software for Certified Financial Planners, their clients, and also internal admin tools. They work with the founders, product designers, and backend engineers and deliver towards the company’s vision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own product features end to end in a scalable, secure and maintainable way. The buck stops with you on whatever you own.
• Provide technical solutions through design, architecture and implementation. Wear multiple hats in delivering greenfield projects from concept to production. 
• Work with the product and design team in understanding and shaping the customer experience.
• Establish, advocate and bring your experience on coding styles, best practices, and in scaling the product from MVP to production.
• Iterate fast. Display maturity in prioritizing towards velocity while balancing quality. As a startup, we break or make on how fast we deliver.
• Teach and mentor other front-end engineers. Focus on providing technical expertise and solutions regardless of how long one has been working professionally.

Requirements

• Professional experience working with any of the front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember etc.
• Solid expert level understanding of Semantic HTML, CSS and JavaScript concepts.
• Have written automated tests with any of the frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, AVA, Karma etc.
• Able to use CI/CD tools such as CircleCI, GitLab, Jenkins etc. and create workflows and pipelines to release to production every other day.
• Good understanding of how a browser parses and renders a web page.
• Understand HTTP requests, Restful APIs and web applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud computing platform and being able to leverage its various services such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, EKS, ECS etc.

Good-to-haves

• Early or mid-stage startup experience

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a React.js Developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack and Redux is a must.
• Experience with REST APIs
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
• Ability to translate designs into code
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Ability to work through new and difficult React Native Issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.

We are looking for UI developers with good knowledge of React JS. As a developer you will be responsible for understanding the requirements and developing the UI as per UX / VDs provided by the business / product team. You will be responsible for delivering a performant, robust and easy to maintain application. You will co-ordinate with different teams like backend developers, QA, product team and devops team to ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer science or related technical field
• 2-4 years of experience in developing UI components leveraging React.js
• Experience in eCommerce domain is an advantage
